I can't say enough about how well this guy works! He is going to do something big one day and I…read moredon't say that about just anybody. His friendliness and "customer service" is second to none. Great Guy! As far as the quality of his work goes, he will get it done, no matter what it is and on every job, left us pleasantly surprised at the results. I won't get into all the work and small jobs he has done but I will say that he was able to track a leak on our roof that we've had three other guys come out to work on before Nick. Every one before him either missed it or created a different leak somewhere else and then the next rain we would get, rain would end up coming inside. Nick is a Handyman, and a damn solid one! After about 2 or 3 heavy rains so far since he has been up there and the work has held up. Nice and dry inside. I'm grateful to say the least. If I had to give a place he could improve would be in his estimates. He underbids himself and some of the estimates, like our roof, we had paid over $1,000.00 every time we sprung a leak and Nick comes around at more than half off that. He explained that he was only allowed to charge $500. I wasn't going to argue with that! But when he comes back to tell you it's going to cost more, and it's a different job altogether, I understood. I wouldn't expect him to work for free and the job needed to be done right, so we agreed and still ended up paying him hundreds less than the cheapest contractor we had come out before him. He explains exactly why and helps to go out of his way to help save us some money and get the best deal possible.

And this is also a company that other companies collaborate with for emergency repairs. After two major rain storms the thirteen year old home we had recently purchased, here, in Madera, had significant rain damage to our roof, and bedroom ceiling. After getting nowhere, fast, with the company that did the roof inspection and guaranteeing the roof free of leaks for two years - I called Servpro. Because time was of the essence, Servpro gave me the name and number of the licensed contractor, Joseph Whitcomb of Golden Valley Restoration, Inc., for quick turn around. Especially given the degree of damage. Joseph was able to set an appointment quickly to ascertain the demands of the project. This project required two other outside contractors to facilitate the completion of this repair work. The first was a roofing contractor - Luis Galvan of Galvaneyes Roofing Inc., who responded immediately and set a time schedule for his portion of this project. As soon as Luis' portion of this project was completed Joseph scheduled his portion. And he did so with the utmost of professionalism as humanly possible. We are beyond ecstatic with the manor in which Golden Valley Restoration Inc., conducted themselves and the outstanding work with expert craftsmanship their portion of this project was done. We are now waiting on the final stage, of the project, to redo some of the gutter pieces and add additional gutters as needed. Which will be done as soon as we stop dodging rainstorms.
