Jan Ramos, the relatively new owner of Town and Country Property Management, has a great reputation…read morefor providing first-rate management services. Sometimes managers do drop the ball as evidenced by a single evaluation of the previous owner. But this is a whole new ballgame. Jan should not be judged because she wasn't the owner then. I really would have hoped to give a better rating to Diana Sosa. It's too bad things did not work…read moreout in our working relationship. It has been years now, but I still think about this horrid situation when I go up to my rental in Oakhurst. I had to move my family to Fresno, being a single mom I had found an amazing employment opportunity. I needed someone whom I could trust with my soon-to-be rental house in Oakhurst. Diana Sosa was recommended, what a mistake. Diana Sosa is an extremely nice individual, but in terms of a property manager, sadly I cannot say she was the best. The renters we had, that she recommended completely stole from us. We had a beautiful angel statue in the frontal position of our house near our walkway, and a beautiful log bench seat in the backyard that was stolen by the renters when they moved out, not to mention while Diana watched. The renters were also given their entire deposit back which was completely an "inept thing to do" to me and extremely sad. I can remember my conversation with Diana over the phone when I went to view my property up in Oakhurst and saw those items gone. It was horrific that my angel statue was gone. This item was heavy and quite large, and so was the log bench in the backyard. Again I could not believe they were gone! In my conversation with Diana, she informed me that she could do nothing about my property being stolen because it was not noted in the paperwork she had, mind you, it was the first time I had ever rented my house out, and I had pictures and shared with her that those items were to stay on the property. Sadly in essence Diana basically said they could take my property if it was not LISTED ON HER LIST!!!!!. My goodness, what a horrible day that was for me, I still placed a police report against my renters that stole from me, but the Sheriffs replied to me, that it was the property manager that should have stopped it and didn't. That was a real bad day for me, it may seem like nothing but those items had sentimental value, custom made, and irreplaceable. My situation is not at all like it was then, after growing financially and having business knowledge I still think about that ordeal with Diana, basically it was a day of trauma and a nightmare for me where the reality of choosing the wrong property manager, came down to my own fault for signing on the dotted line and trusting her with my house. Still today after so many years, I often wonder how Diana could have allowed that to happen to hard-working people. Financially as my world has changed I have learned a lesson through this that I will take with me for a lifetime. I will make every effort and opportunity in my life, to tie up loose ends and work my hardest Not to Treat people the way I was treated on that awful day. It goes to show what tainted perspective can do.

We spent two days at The Oak Pond Retreat and immediately wanted to come back for longer! The second time around, we decided to stay 5 days at The Emerald Escape! The homes are beautiful, spacious, and stocked FULL of amenities. Although both homes were located in quiet neighborhoods and felt secluded, they were very close to grocery stores, restaurants, thrift/antique stores (the best i've been to), and national parks/trails! Every room felt neat and clean. The bathrooms, carpets, and the jacuzzi at our second stay felt well-maintained and hygienic. The wi-fi was great and the TVs were super easy to navigate. There was also never a worry of running out of towels or clothes because of the washer and dryer! Great homes ran by even better people. Gailyn and Adam have the best team. They're very warm, welcoming, and inviting. They're consistent in letting you know they're there if you need help and/or have any questions. They're reliable and quick to respond. I cant wait to go back!

They are very personable and genuine, something rare in today's world. They really do care about the guest experience and homeowners, which has been truly refreshing. I can't recommend them enough. If I get the chance to buy another vacation rental in the area I'll be ecstatic if they decide to manage it for me.

Every time someone…read moremoved out I was bracing myself for months of vacancy, showings that went nowhere, applications that looked good but flopped, and then sometimes ending up with tenants that weren't even good. My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Tenants know who to call and stuff actually gets fixed lol. I also like that I'm not just left guessing anymore. New applicant? I know. Lease signed? I know. Something pops up? I hear about it before it's a bigger problem. I don't feel outta the loop like I did before. Honestly... I'm not stressing about who's living there or how long it'll sit empty. Things feel steady now. After years of chaos and headaches, this kinda stability is worth way more than I thought it would be. Thank you Chambers.!

Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. I don't feel stuck or unsure every time something small comes up, and that peace of mind alone is worth a lot. Thank you Chambers Property Management!

Management may be part of the job but "Property Management" in any name for reality involves rentals and or sales! I'm sure you guys are a great company! And the idea of VHR is great too But with this name youre misleading and wasting the time of locals looking for a safe place to build their lives and not have to bounce.. it's bad enough all these air bnbs over infested our mountains! people are being forced out of places due to the Air bnbs taking over and owners switching or buying out rentals from under tenants. there should be limitations and regulations for how many VHR agencies are allowed per the size of an area and a limit for how many each company may "manage" this I know is not your fault and have no control over just my opinion I say this with a good heart I mean no bad to any of the company it's simply frustrating to have to filter through 100s of VHR services for a few local 'property management' rental services... if you would adjust the name it'd probably help customer traffic for you too :))
