We got married last April, Christa was so kind and helpful through the entire experience. Very great at communicating and thoughtful.

We live in Colorado, so we didn't know anybody local in South Lake Tahoe, and we were lucky to have found Christa via Weddingwire! Christa was so wonderful to work with, she was very personable and kind. She was very helpful with creating our ceremony! We gave her a lot of the pieces we wanted to include in our ceremony, and she helped us put them all together in a beautiful and coherent way. She was also super great to work with, and since she was able to take care of all of the paperwork for us, we didn't have to make any extra trips to the social security office, which was extra nice since we live out of state! We got lots of great compliments on our officiant and our ceremony from our guests. I highly recommend Christa as your officiant!

Christa was fantastic and so helpful in planning our small ceremony in South Lake Tahoe! We have visited Tahoe for many years and now living in Portland, we needed her help in finding the perfect location to get married in South Tahoe. Her suggestions and help in getting the details finished up prior to the ceremony made for such a easy, breezy and lovely day for us! :) highly recommend if you're looking to get hitched in the area!

Christa was wonderful! We wanted it short, sweet and easy. She provided everything we asked and was efficient with paperwork too so that by the time we got to Tahoe, we were good to go within minutes. She was kind and was great at communicating up to the day. We highly recommend her. Pics included.

Gina was wonderful and helped ensure that everything came together perfectly. From setting up the ceremony location to coordinating the officiant and creating the absolutely gorgeous flowers, every detail exceeded our expectations. The scenery was breathtaking, the location was perfect, and the entire team was professional, friendly, attentive, and accommodating to our needs. They made us feel completely cared for and allowed us to truly enjoy our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience or a more memorable day. We highly recommend The Hytch to anyone planning a beautiful and stress-free Lake Tahoe wedding!

This is a fantastic boutique wedding pop-up…read more Hidden on Dickerson Road off Keystone Avenue in Reno near the Truckee River, the place was like a fairy tale with lush green scenery, tall trees that practically enclosed it within its grotto. It boasts a beautiful cascade and these tiny bridges that took you along a path of their garden oasis to then view the Truckee. The seating was adequate, maybe it could accommodate up to100 people. It had small almost hut like buildings for lack of a better word which served as a bar area where drinks were served, seating for dining and 2-3 places specifically designated for couples to take great photos, but the grounds itself was plenty. It's one of those places I'd say, it doesn't feel like Reno, it's what you would come to expect from spots that feel like you go on a vacation without leaving town. No pictures here, simply to honor the bridge, groom and their guest, but look up The Hytch and check it out. Maybe refer a couple that's been in a holding pattern forever. It's sure to change their mind.

Given COVID and many other restrictions we decided to use a service that included everything in one. When you aren't one of those types of people who want absolute control over the details and don't want a big deal over ceremonies, I highly recommend this. LOTSW has a few different tiers of what they have to offer with their appropriate price points. Due to COVIID and our wedding being elopement style, Rev. Dorie was kind enough to let me customize my package. You will be keeping the price point of course, but she was nice enough to let me swap things like providing my own flowers and trading those fees for more photos instead. I have to say, she captured some of the most incredible moments and I could not have asked for anything better. We got married on 8.26.2021 and it was in the midst of everything bad in S. Lake Tahoe. We originally lost our spot we booked a year in advanced, (Emerald Bay) but Dorie did everything she could to make sure that she was able to find a spot that was still open and available so we did not lose out on the opportunity to get married since it was coming down to the wire. (2 days after we left everyone was evacuated) To chime in with people are saying in regards to Dorie and her attitude. Dorie is a professional and she is a bit older. She has been doing this a long time and she knows what she is doing and how she wants it done. Her issue is with people not listening to her, people not following the instructions they were told, people being in her personal space, and things like that. People tend to not realize that when she is taking pictures, they close in on her because they want to get the shot too and it leaves her no room to move and she has to tell people to please back up over and over. She has to remind people "this is what we are doing or this is where we are going" and after 2 or 3 times yes, the annoyance is on her face and apparent and I honestly don't blame her because it does take a long time. We arent natural models so yes, we dont always get the poses she is asking us to do or what she means and she does get frustrated, I could see she was a bit annoyed with me and my husband because we are not naturals LOL. Overall it was a wonderful experience and she did every and anything she could to make it a great day despite the natural disaster around us. I would highly recommend LOTSW to anyone.

Working with the team at The Arch was incredibly easy. They made the planning process feel seamless. If you're looking for an alternative to a traditional church wedding or simply want a unique and beautiful place to say your vows, I highly recommend The Arch. As a bonus, even though there is a private beach nearby, most people stay on the far side. We couldn't hear or notice them during the ceremony, so it still felt peaceful and private.

We were supposed to go to Hawaii for their wedding but bc of covid concerns we weren't able to make that happen. Although everything didn't turn out the way we all wanted, and after all careful consideration of places to get married, they stumbled upon Tahoe and this beautiful venue. The location of the ceremony is perfect for that beach feel! And the reception is just right across the street! How convenient (: Decorated their arch and made it as close to Hawaiian vibes as possible. I'm glad it was the perfect size though bc I'm 5 ft. And it was difficult enough to reach the top of the arch but thankfully I had family's help so it all worked out well. I left all this stuff in the reception area at the landings so I was bummed about that bc I never got a call back to see if they'd found it but that's okay! It totally slipped my mind bc it was having too much fun that I forgot to bring the rest of my stuff LOL Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs Asido! After changing the dates 2 times they were able to finally make it happen! 2020 is truly a trip!
