After our meeting, she drafted a comprehensive Google document to describe the sequence of the ceremony as well as what she plans on saying for each segment, so there is no surprise to the couple on the day of the wedding. We were able to make edits in real time and she would make the adjustments necessary so that we were satisfied with her work. That being said, on our wedding day, the ceremony did not feel scripted at all -- quite the opposite actually! The way Jinnae delivers her words is very authentic and spiritual, and she does so in such a calming manner, all the while reading the audience and knowing when to squeeze in a bit of humor should the atmosphere call for it. We received positive comments from our guests saying how much they loved our officiant's demeanor, and how meditative they felt during the entire ceremony. Our photographer also complimented Jinnae's timing: he said that the ceremony was just the perfect duration. Not too long and not too short. My family is Filipino, and my parents made a request to incorporate "Mano Po" and the cord and veil traditions into our ceremony, which were previously outside of Jinnae's experience. But she spent a considerable amount of her own time to learn about our culture so that she can seamlessly add these traditions into our ceremony, which we greatly appreciated. After our wedding day, she mailed our marriage license to the respective office, and even provided me with advice on how to deal with the office's slow processing times. She seemed very professional, friendly, and helpful that's why me and my now husband decided to hire her...BIG MISTAKE AND BIG WASTE OF MONEY! She charged us $1000 to coordinate our wedding the "Day Of" (Note- the contract states that the "Day Of package" starts 8-6 weeks before the wedding)...Well, our wedding was 3 weeks away and I had to contact her to remind her about my wedding! Once I did that, we set up an appointment to discuss wedding details. Now, the day of the appointment she was few minutes late (which I hated because I had my 3 month old baby with me and I was on a schedule to feed him). Plus, I just hated the fact that she was late! In my opinion wedding coordinators are like real estate agents, they need to arrive before the client does! At the end of the appointment she told me that "everything was on her hands now and that everything would be less stressful for me." Well, complete lies! Vendors were still contacting me and I still had to deal with a lot of stuff. When I asked her if she had contacted all the vendors, she told me she was "too busy" and that she "would do it soon." I mean, my wedding was around the corner and she was "too busy" to do the things I hired for! The day of the rehearsal we were supposed to meet 30 mins before anyone would get there to discuss about the decorations she was going to set up. Well, once again she was LATE! She got there when everyone else did, so we couldn't talk freely. Also, that day she brought her assistant because she had other "things to do," and her assistant took over our rehearsal. I paid her to be there, and she only showed up for 10 mins! The day of the wedding she was there, but from what I heard and saw she did very little. I actually think the venue coordinator did more for us (bringing us food and drinks, making sure we were comfortable, etc) than Grace. Not to mention that my husband told me that at the end of the event, him and his best man (wearing their tuxedos) were cleaning the venue and bridal room because she wasn't doing it! Something we paid for! To end this review, Grace completely disappointed me and my husband. We were not happy with her business and we felt like it was a waste of money. The funny part is that if you go to her instagram page @gracefulgatherings she reposted our wedding video making it seem like she did a great job, when in fact she was the worst vendor we had. So I'm hoping she removes our video from her page because we do not recommend her at all!

Luckily Cassie has a welcoming spirit and knows no stranger! I immediately felt comfort with her, she brings such a peaceful and happy aurora with her. I trusted her guidance her knowledge in poses and boy did it pay off in the end! I loved my picture and was in shock it was me. After having a baby, I was lacking self-confidence, which, after the session I gained seeing myself through her lenses. Fast forward to this month. I've been looking forward to this session. I splurge and treated myself to the whole experience. I added hair and makeup and got a full session. It was all completely worth it. Like I told Cassie before, I was doing this shoot as a surprise for my significant other, but also for myself. Us moms get caught up in taking care of everyone else and don't always feel the best. Cassie's work is obviously phenomenal, but also a reminder of how beautiful you are. She captures you in such great lighting and angles, I catch myself telling her I can't believe that is me. From the first moment I met them for a consultation to the last moment when the lights came on after our last dance at the wedding they were there every step of the way. My husband and I live in Long Beach Ca. and having our wedding in Grass Valley turned out to be a daunting task to execute. So we decided to hire a day of coordinator. We chose Dyane and Jeff for their expertise and experience. Not to mention we clicked right away and I felt completely comfortable in their presence. The overwhelming task of planning a wedding from a fare lessened once my husband and I chose Dyane and Jeff. Let me just say that they go above and beyond what a day of event planner typically handles. They contacted all of our vendors for us multiple times leading up to the wedding insuring everyone was on the same page. They have worked many weddings at the Mines so they are familiar with the rules and regulations that come with having a wedding in a State Park. I brought a lot of DIY stuff and only having 2 hours to set up was daunting task but they handled it to a T. This was because there were multiple e mails and phone calls leading up to the big day. Once again going above and beyond for being a day of event planner! Dyane and Jeff accompanied me on the 30 day walk threw with the park rangers and Dyane was not afraid to be assertive on my behalf with the vision I had for guest once entering the park. Normally the park rangers have the guests enter at a certain location but my vision was to have them enter threw the gardens to get the full experience the park has to offer. One of the Rangers was hesitant to this idea because it had never been done before. Dyane knew this was important to me and was vocal with the ranger and made it happen. Another "issue" was that we had lawn games at the wedding and wanted a place for guest to be able to put their drink and tray passed hourderves while they played their games. The Rangers did not want cocktail tables on the lawn game area which would have made the games difficult to play. Once again they made multiple phone calls to the Rangers on our behalf and needless to say we had cocktail tables on the lawn game area! All of our friends and family said it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to. The venue it self is a great backdrop for an enchanting wedding but the flow and vision of the wedding executed with experts like Dyane and Jeff left it as a magical evening everyone will remember! They kept the night flowing with the behind the scenes details all the while trending to my husband and I to make sure we were taken care of and happy. I can't say thanks enough to these two amazing human beings! They definitely have a great thing going! If you want a stress free magical event where you, friends, and family don't have to lift a finger and just enjoy what should be the best day of your life.........
