Throughout the process Bonnie was calm, patient and easy to work with. She is exceptionally organized and quick thinking. We had some guests arriving late and she was able to quickly reorganize the timeline for our ceremony so that everyone was present. The ceremony itself was beautiful. Bonnie achieved what we thought was impossible, a secular ceremony that pleased even my strict Catholic grandmother. The memorable ceremony was personal and reflected our values and couldn't have been created without her vision.

After our meeting, she drafted a comprehensive Google document to describe the sequence of the ceremony as well as what she plans on saying for each segment, so there is no surprise to the couple on the day of the wedding. We were able to make edits in real time and she would make the adjustments necessary so that we were satisfied with her work. That being said, on our wedding day, the ceremony did not feel scripted at all -- quite the opposite actually! The way Jinnae delivers her words is very authentic and spiritual, and she does so in such a calming manner, all the while reading the audience and knowing when to squeeze in a bit of humor should the atmosphere call for it. We received positive comments from our guests saying how much they loved our officiant's demeanor, and how meditative they felt during the entire ceremony. Our photographer also complimented Jinnae's timing: he said that the ceremony was just the perfect duration. Not too long and not too short. My family is Filipino, and my parents made a request to incorporate "Mano Po" and the cord and veil traditions into our ceremony, which were previously outside of Jinnae's experience. But she spent a considerable amount of her own time to learn about our culture so that she can seamlessly add these traditions into our ceremony, which we greatly appreciated. After our wedding day, she mailed our marriage license to the respective office, and even provided me with advice on how to deal with the office's slow processing times. You will not be disappointed in choosing Jinnae as your officiant. She goes above and beyond, and even provides inspiration for wedding vows, readings, special ceremony additions, etc. If you want a hassle-free wedding ceremony, look no further than Your Ceremony with Spirit!

She was great to work with. We didn't get a chance to meet prior to our wedding due to it being a destination wedding in Lake Tahoe but we corresponded through emails. Karen had a survey for us to fill out to get to know us better and the type of ceremony we wanted. She then sent us a ceremony outline that we could edit all we wanted. She had a beautiful reading for us that we picked out from readings she had. When it came down to our wedding (@ Lakeview Lodge - Heavenly) we briefly met but I was very confident in her. The father and son team were easy going and nice to work with. Our budget was tight, as we were investing heavily in wedding photography, so we were happy to find them pretty late in the planning process, and appreciated their flexibility. We requested a documentary style video of the wedding with minimal editing, to keep the costs down. Their audio services during the wedding with wireless mics, amplified music and sound mixing were perfect and exactly what we needed. The final wedding video product was beautiful and they did a great job with nice editing and segmentation that captured the feeling and emotions of the day. Their turnaround was quick, and they gave us a beautiful memory that we hoped for, and created affordable duplicate copies for us to share with our family as well.

There was a mix-up with e-mails at one point regarding where we would meet for a meeting. It wasn't a big deal, but he had confirmed the time and meeting place over e-mail, but forgot he had done so. We both ended up in two different places, my fiance and I in the place we had agreed upon in e-mail and Greg at another location. Thankfully we could still meet with him that day, but we had to drive to him. The day before the wedding, I called Greg to see if we could book the video, so he and his son are definitely very flexible. Though, somehow he already had it in his notes that we wanted a video, which we had never confirmed. He also asked questions about the ceremony and reception, though we had already had the conversation at a previous meeting and in e-mails. There were just enough small hiccups that made me wonder if he was fully prepared. In the end, Greg did a great job with the ceremony and reception. Other than at the very start of the ceremony, the mics worked very well and everyone could hear what was being said. As the bridal party was lining up to be announced into the reception, there was some confusion for Greg regarding the line-up, even though we outlined who would be walking together. I am not sure why this happened, but my husband was able to help sort things out. The reception ran very smoothly and he played the songs we wanted for the most part. I specifically told him not to play slow songs, but he started the dancing with two slow songs. This was quickly fixed once I told him to not play anymore. We also asked him to play music in the order of generations (50s, 60s, 70s, etc.). This didn't really happen, but he played songs we liked, so it was fine in the end. I just worried the older folks didn't feel a part of the dancing as much, though many still joined in. We ordered the video option. It is awesome to know we have a video of our day and we can always watch it again and again. It turned out a little differently than we anticipated in terms of length (it's over an hour), so we may shorten it ourselves in some way if possible. The use of the drone was a great addition. I would say if you want someone to document your day, this is a great option and is very affordable compared to most videographers. But it isn't going to be creatively cut and there are times when the video is a little shaky. Overall, Greg and his son did a pretty good job. There was some hiccups along the way, but really nothing major. Both Greg and his son were pleasant and friendly. Greg is also very reasonably priced.

That's right - from engagement to wedding in less than three months. Not only did she set us up with the best vendors (Wedding DJ, Special Times Catering, Dani-Lynn w/Allure Salon, the Palms, WeDoDesigns, and Billings Photography) but she helped co-ordinate the intros, the contracts, the payment schedule, and even several walk-throughs. Best part? She was there from start to finish on our wedding day. She made sure everything was "just so" with regards to decorations, she made sure the vendors were set-up and ready to go, and she walked the wedding party through their cues. I think the topper for me was when the venue was - proactively - setting up for rain for the wedding the day AFTER mine. Let's just say their preparations were going to detract from my decor. In a firm, but loving tone, she let the venue know that it was NOT appropriate for the Friday wedding...and to take it down. Which they did. Look no further. 530 Bride is your best bet.
