Sadly we had a completely different experience. After the birth of the pups we had to request pictures and were not kept well informed. The day we scheduled to choose our pup, the owner was not present. The pups were in a pen with food, water, and old poop. First vaccines were not given until the morning we picked her up, adding to the stress of transition on her system. After 5 days of bloody diarrhea, she was diagnosed with a parasite. The owner defended his position by telling me it was "impossible" to keep his pups from getting Giardia and was anything but compassionate. Two vet trips in 8 days, three medications and $450 dollars later, she is still not 100%. We have yet to receive our AKC paperwork as promised. I believe the owner's intentions may be good but IMO his business has grown too large to safely and professionally care for his continual litters of pups. Truly disappointing experience.
