Moving meant needing a massage therapist nearby so I could go more often and as needed. Victoria's…read morewebsite seemed to offer everything I was looking for. Victoria is a highly sought local massage therapist and books up quickly, but she works hard to get you in. I bought a package from her and her massages are spot on. She will keep monitoring you to make sure the pressure is correct and she does cupping, steamed towel, reiki, and cranio-sacral therapy, too. I have fallen asleep on the table while she was working on me at least once and I always leave feeling more relaxed. She 's also highly knowledgeable and intuitive about feet structural issues and proper shoe fitting. She is certified in Structural Reflexology®, which as explained on her site, "analyzes foot alignment and function to correct foot problems by seeking the cause of painful symptoms. The foot structure is assessed, aligned, and then by utilizing Reflexology, massage techniques, and gentle taims, joint and muscle tension is relieved." My dad has severe feet issues that have led to difficulty walking. He was going to be visiting me, so I got him set up for a package with Victoria. He was highly impressed with her knowledge and his feet felt better than they had in a long time. He was so pleased, that he even signed up for a full body massage. Victoria is kind, sweet, and does phenomenal work. I'm so grateful for her services.

I visited Balance Massage while on vacation in Vermont and it was the perfect break from a long…read moreweek of skiing and outdoor time. Steph, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and she soothed my sore muscles and mind over a 90 minute deep tissue massage. The studio is conveniently located on the Main Street of Waterbury, but all outside noises are subdued in the relaxing massage space. Steph reviewed all my needs prior to the appointment and gave me a massage that not only relaxed my mind but also invigorated my muscles. Her warm demeanor and heated table put me immediately at ease and I was in heaven for 90 minutes. I highly recommend seeking her out if you are local and calling ahead if you're visiting Sugarbush or Stowe. I've had a lot of massages, and this was one of the best.

It was valentines day and had zero expectations of there being any openings as a walk in... I was wrong. There was a 30 minute window and after a long week and day of skiing I splurged on treating myself despite it only being 30 minutes. Place is warm and inviting. Small, but doesn't need to be any bigger. There is a waiting area for pre and post treatment with water, tea, and chocolate. I never got my massage therapist's name but she made thirty minutes feel like an hour. Focusing on the back and scalp I was relaxed the entire time. The hot towels were a surprise too. I talked to the owner for a bit afterwards and I initially booked a two hour slot a couple days out since I was sorta still going to be in the area. But, there was an ice storm coming and I changed my plans to head home the day before. But now I know when I get back up here to be sure to book another appointment!

Very happy! Unless you head off to Burlington, there aren't many options for nail salons in the…read morearea, unless you're headed off to the spa, but really... who regularly manicures their nails at a spa?! Dont get me wrong, that's a nice treat, but when you're going for a monthly mani/pedi... what do you look for? Clean shop, good service, and quality service! Phinne Nail Salon has all of that. They all do a great job, Saphe is my "go to girl", perfection every time, but I've never had any bad service from anyone. The shop is clean, that's really important, and they're entertaining. Once you're a 'regular', you feel like family... they know whats going on with you and you keep up with them, it's like visiting with friends when you go, entertaining to say the least! I would recommend making an appointment! They're generally very busy and unfortunately that takes away from the 'walk in' business, but come on... generally it's a good sign when a business is constantly busy, that means... GOOD PRODUCT! So call them, make an appointment, and ENJOY!

Her daughter did my pedicure and Phinne did my manicure. The exfoliation of my feet during the pedicure was a plus but the application of the polish was substandard. A thick glob was applied to the center of the nail and then spread out. Power tools were used to remove the gel manicure from my fingernails and there were times it was painful as she wore down my nails. My nails are now continuously breaking because she thinned them so much. I will continue to drive to Burlington for better quality.
