There was a 30 minute window and after a long week and day of skiing I splurged on treating myself despite it only being 30 minutes. Place is warm and inviting. Small, but doesn't need to be any bigger. There is a waiting area for pre and post treatment with water, tea, and chocolate. I never got my massage therapist's name but she made thirty minutes feel like an hour. Focusing on the back and scalp I was relaxed the entire time. The hot towels were a surprise too. I talked to the owner for a bit afterwards and I initially booked a two hour slot a couple days out since I was sorta still going to be in the area. But, there was an ice storm coming and I changed my plans to head home the day before. But now I know when I get back up here to be sure to book another appointment!

She will keep monitoring you to make sure the pressure is correct and she does cupping, steamed towel, reiki, and cranio-sacral therapy, too. I have fallen asleep on the table while she was working on me at least once and I always leave feeling more relaxed. She 's also highly knowledgeable and intuitive about feet structural issues and proper shoe fitting. She is certified in Structural Reflexology®, which as explained on her site, "analyzes foot alignment and function to correct foot problems by seeking the cause of painful symptoms. The foot structure is assessed, aligned, and then by utilizing Reflexology, massage techniques, and gentle taims, joint and muscle tension is relieved." Her daughter did my pedicure and Phinne did my manicure. The exfoliation of my feet during the pedicure was a plus but the application of the polish was substandard. A thick glob was applied to the center of the nail and then spread out. Power tools were used to remove the gel manicure from my fingernails and there were times it was painful as she wore down my nails. My nails are now continuously breaking because she thinned them so much. I will continue to drive to Burlington for better quality.

When I saw her, I was pretty much unable to walk due to a back disorder, but when I left I was able to do so without assistance and little to no back pain. After several needed treatments the back pain in completely gone and now we can focus on other health conditions. I highly recommend Allison to anyone who has never done acupuncture as she is so gentle and caring.
