Dedicated to a Herschel and Louise metcalf in 1997 I've passed This bell quite a few times over the years but have been unable to find the significance or story behind the memorial. Regardless it's a very nice old time looking bell and sticks out and serves as a very nice memorial.

This particular marker is located on south 4th street in louisville Kentucky in the theatre square portion of town. Each marker has a story about what occurred at sit in a longe with dates and other historical information. This particular one took place at was once called Mary Anderson theatre. Overall this are really cool tributes and honors to some of the local history in the city of Lousiville and hold significant historical information.

Which is fitting as it is the first thing that welcomes you once you enter the universities home baseball stadium of Jim Patterson stadium. Very cool and unique Sculpture that the local fans are big fans of. It is one of the first things I check out and take a photo of or with when supporting my hometown cities university baseball team. Overall great job by the artist and the creator for coming up with a cool and unique piece of public art that ties in perfectly with the baseball stadium.
