Things tailed off a little thereafter, it took a week to get the next reply, but things moved in the right direction. 2. ARRIVAL TIME. They were late, but they got there. Wa-a-a-a-ay better than a cable company. 3. ROOF INSTALL. They put the antenna up on the roof exactly as asked. They did all of the right work, had the right parts and the job looks great. 4. IN HOME. They had to wire the antenna into our attic. From there they got it down to our home cable box, and out to all of the TVs. I'm very happy with the work they did. I was looking for people with greater experience than Best Buy. Mark got back to me very quickly and we arranged to have Karl visit us for a consultation. Karl listened to all the details of what I wanted in my setup, offering plenty of feedback on what I might expect and need. (He also took a look at my network closet, but I chose not to do anything with it.) By the end, we had probably spent an hour or more together and I got an excellent plan that we decided to go with. When my TV came in, Karl offered to come over ASAP to do the work. He showed up right on time, bringing Jeff along to do the job. They created an entirely clean setup for me, with wires running through the wall, and were able to install electricity and relocate networking cables to accommodate the mounting location. They walked me through the physical setup and the TV settings I would need to consider. During the review of the TV, *they* found a flaw in the screen and immediately let me know that they would handle getting a replacement and be back as soon as it came in. They just completed that work for me today and we went through the same review. Karl and Jeff were both great guys. (We talked horror movies and the quality of blacks in the new tech.) And something more I appreciated: they wore masks while in the house, removed their shoes when they came in, and left my house clean. I will be calling these guys again when I need something done. I trust what they tell me and they deliver on what they say.

In my case, I had them help me mount a very large flat screen television set on a wall. I normally do these things myself and I'm very good at it, so my standards and expectations are high. This one was too large and heavy for me to finish the install, so I gave Byron a call and got on their schedule. He and his co-owner came by to complete the install. Ordinary guys would have spent two minutes, hung the television, and overcharged me. Not so with these guys. They spent time talking to me about how far over to hang it, made sure everything was secure, then lifted the television and hooked it on the mount. While continuing to hold it, Byron carefully examined the brackets behind the television with a flashlight and made absolutely certain the latches were engaged and the television was secure. Then they pulled out a microfiber cloth and cleaned off any fingerprints or smudges they might have left. No kidding. I got their name from a friend who is the manager in charge of pulling together the local offices for a software company. Two Techies installed all of their televisions, and she was so impressed she has been using them both for additional work at her office and personally at home. She gave a strong recommendation and now that I've tried them out, I completely agree with that assessment. Purchased a brand new Channel Master CM-4228HD antenna to go into my attic. Was not getting very…read moregood reception. Several channels, including 11-1 and 17-1 would not come in clearly. So I found Cyber Dish online and gave them a call to come out and troubleshoot the problem. Chris came out, charged me $200, added an amplifier and moved the antenna around a bit in my attic (didn't actually mount the antenna, just laid it down against something, so it was pointing the desired direction). The signal strength seemed to be good on all of the channels, so I let him go. Then, just a couple of hours later, I started losing several of the channels again. It's arguably worse now than it was. This is all very intermittent. Sometimes they all come in clear, sometimes several go out. And of course, it's worse with the weather is bad. I also see that there is foil backed plywood all through the attic, and everything I read says that this is a huge blocker of digital signals. I reached back out to CyberDish, indicating that i was still seeing reception issues and voiced my concern about the foil backed plywood in the attic. I called Chris today and voiced my concerns. He gave me several things to try to troubleshoot the problem. All good things to try, but all along I'm thinking why after paying $200 is it my responsibility to troubleshoot this stuff. When I brought this point up on the call, that's when things went South. Instead of Chris just offering to come back out and make this right, it just turned into an argument. At one point, he said that it was working when he left. Seriously? He also said that the antenna could be faulty, as if to say that's not his responsibility. And let's see, he said that he's never had this issue with anyone else. OK, what's the point? I'll be happy to give Chris/CyberDish one more chance to make this right, and once this is working as it should, I'll be happy to alter my review. But as it stands, I cannot be more dissatisfied with not only the service, but also the follow-up.
