Very expensive place. Was charged way too much money for the repair. I don't recommend motorworks.

I was in Bethel visiting a friend at his business and reached out to Belardinelli Tire asking if they could help me. Lisa the owner responded and said they would gladly look at the tire. It was 4:30 and they were closing in an hour. Lisa asked if I could run over and I was right next door. Turns out there was a 1" nail in the tire. They patched it up and I was on my way within 30 mins. These guys are awesome! Thanks so much for the quick and awesome service!

Very disappointing experience. If you have a specialty or enthusiast car, I would look elsewhere…read more I brought my 1999 BMW M3 in for an alignment after installing KW V2 coilovers and paid $225. The car came back with the steering wheel off-center and the alignment incorrect. I brought it back for a second alignment. They never mentioned any issue with the alignment or that adjustable top hats were needed -- they simply called and said the car was ready and tracking straight. It wasn't. After raising the issue again, I was eventually told the car needed adjustable top hats to properly address the front camber. The third visit was to obtain the alignment sheets and understand what was actually going on. The specs were clearly off. This should have been identified and communicated from the beginning. There was time between visits because this is a specialty car I rarely drive, it's not my only vehicle, I travel frequently, and I wanted to rule out anything on my end. The shop seemed to hold that against me. After installing the top hats, I gave them an opportunity to make things right. Herb was defensive and combative and told me I would have to pay for another full alignment. I asked for a call from the owner or manager, but no one followed up. I eventually called back and spoke with Jared. He was more cordial and acknowledged they may have made a mistake, but ultimately took the same position and accepted no responsibility for the poor communication or inconvenience caused. This isn't about another $225. It's about accountability and standing behind the work you already performed. Mistakes happen. Refusing to own them is the problem. I would not recommend this shop, especially for specialty vehicles.

A little preamble for my story. After a little light Christmas shopping at the Danbury Fair Mall, I walked out to my car to notice a sizable (about the size of a basketball) dent on the driver side of my bumper, and was definitely bummed out thinking that I wouldn't get it repaired before my anticipated road trip back to visit friend and family in Michigan for Christmas and New Years celebrations. Fortunately, a good samaritan witnessed the event, and was able to run me down with the individual who brushed up against my defenseless Malibu Maxx with her substantially larger H3. The important part of the preamble is the lady wanted to pay cash for the repair work instead of going to insurance if at all possible, so we exchanged all pertinent information, and I told her that the next morning I would obtain multiple estimates for the repair work. My journey began the next morning as I interviewed half a dozen of Danbury's collision shop/auto body repair shops. I will say that everyone was pretty reasonable with the prices, but I did receive the most cost effective estimate from Route 53. Remembering this is an estimate, and the actual cost of repairs could be higher, I went with the crew at Route 53. Not only was it reasonable, but the time frame in which they could complete the repairs was the best suited for my planned holiday road trip (remember, it's Winter, so a lot of locations are rather busy with repairs right now). I know that depending on the time, and the amount of repairs these guys might have will depend on your time frame experience, but I am speaking from my interaction with everyone. I was also told that they could prepare the bumper (once it arrived) and paint it ahead of time if I needed to hold on to my car for personal use. Everything about these guys for THIS SPECIFIC REPAIR was awesome. My interactions with everyone I dealt with were nothing but professional, and if I ever have body work in the future, I will gladly come back to them. Thank you all for the prompt and professional service, quick turnaround and for coming in at exactly what you quoted me on the estimate!

You can tell that all of their work is of the highest quality. The owner is hands on and wants to make sure you are happy with everything from drop off to pick up, getting a loaner and everything in-between. He kept me well informed throughout the entire process. When I went to trade in my BMW not one dealer could tell that body work was done, with multiple of them complimenting me on how well the car looks. People always tell you to trust the best and since they are the best, my complete trust goes to them that my car will be as good as new when I pick it up.
