Rykenwerks was the only place that didn't tell me it couldn't be done. They not only made a custom adapter to allow floorboards but also hand fabricated a beautiful set of brass floorboards for me that matched the other features of my bike perfectly. I didn't like the sportglide dash and a couple of other details that harley said I couldn't customize either because there are no parts that fit that bike but Rykenwerks made it happen! Brandon fabricated pieces and worked some magic on custom wiring that allowed the parts I liked from a soft tail slim to Fit my sportglide. I was able to go through them to get good deals on powder coating too! They Disassembled, sent them in and reassembled and installed all the parts for me once they came back from powder coating. It was a very easy process so I didn't have to go to multiple places or do any running around myself. There's over 100,000 colors that allowed me find a fun way to customize her look. I was really impressed with the extra care they took too to wash and detail my bike at the end so I could take her home and show her off looking brand new.

After two days riding in the Mojave, then a couple days in the cooler air of Utah and Colorado, my 2013 BMW K1600 developed a misfire. Normally BMW bike owners only take their bikes to BMW specialists. But I like to think I can size up a quality person. I reviewed the area mechanics on line, then decided to call MHGM and Trevor (the owner) came right out. Trevor impressed me as a person who has a great deal of common sense, is a hard worker, will do his homework (will study specific reference material), very conscientious, and detail oriented. (all while maintaining social distancing, after all I am a traveler) Having left Colorado weeks ago and traveled several more thousand miles,I'm happy and relieved to report that the bike is rock solid! After those fixes (and additional work like carb cleaning and spark plug replacement), the machine still has the exact same issue. In other words, Apex misdiagnosed the problem. What made matters worse was the follow-up. When I called back, the service department was inflexible, dismissive, and unwilling to stand behind their work. They would not recheck the ATV without charging again, despite their first diagnosis being wrong. That lack of accountability and unwillingness to make it right was the most disappointing part of the experience.

A while back I…read moretook it to them to have a fuel pump put in. 20 Sep 24 I was trying to leave work and it backfires and basically would not run. Looked in the tank while cranking it and fuel was spraying in an odd area. I though it was from a fuel line. Pulled the fuel filter assembly out and two parts of the plastic that retain the housing are are missing and its safety wired together. I took the assembly to their shop and showed to James. James says that was along time ago and he thinks it was like that when he pulled it out. I said if that is the case why didn't you call me and state it needed a new part? They had done that in the past. He says he thinks the part was not available. I left and went to the Harley shop and ordered the part. Got home and called to inform them the part was available. James continued to believe he did nothing wrong and asked, so your upset because I fixed it? I told him he didn't fix it, he rigged it. Its amazing it lasted that long with cobbled up wire. Lost a long time customer over a 35 dollar part. I believe he broke it and wired it back together to not have to admit breaking it. Zero integrity. I won't go back and do not recommend them.
