I am sorry to say that my experience of Tesco Burnage managers is they they don't care about their customers and are never visible when there are problem. I have never had problems with managers in any other Tesco store. I only continue to shop at Burnage because the shop floor staff are really helpful and cheerful. I have no idea how they manage it

They have a large deli counter, clothes selection, pharmacy, homeware, children's games, camping, fitness stuff, cards and presents, fish counter and American and world foods isle. (pretty much everything!) It also has a sneaky Costa at the back which I didn't realise until recently! There's tons of room in the car park and apart from on weekends when it is really busy, its never too packed and a generally chilled shopping experience. Will always choose here over the small metro down the road as its got a larger selection of pretty much everything!

There was a lack of information around the bus station and I found it hand to find out which bus goes where the fact it was difficult to find any staff around the station other than a toilet cleaner made it even more difficult. Both times I used Warrington's Own Buses, who are the main bus operator who goes from here, my service was both late and the driver was extremely rude. They also never replied to my complaint - I guess it isn't the station's fault its-self but it does play a part. 2* - Other than location there isn't much to shout about for this bus station, as a visitor to Warrington I felt lost, issues with the buses and finding information about services which just wasn't made clear (and that's in comparison to 95% of bus stations I've been to), if you know where you're going or you're The Lucky One, to quote Uku Suviste's Eesti Laul 2021 entry, this place is you. The concourse is clean and looks good, it looks very similar from the outside in comparison to Burnley Barracks Services, also operated by Euro Garages so I presume this is the new format they are looking for with their service stations. Part of the main concourse felt like a construction site, it was bare and unclean. It wasn't motorway service station level, but there were a few brands here including a Sainsbury's To Go, Greggs and a Starbucks Coffee machine. They also have one of the UK's only Cinnabon locations and a new drive-thru McDonald's, the latter is brand new and opened in March 2021. The petrol station is provided by Shell, again this is typical Shell prices, the same as the Shell Petrol Station just meters away. They have toilets inside the main terminal which is friendly, service seems a little impersonal and the prices are a little high, there's little excuse for paying their grocery prices given the fact there's multiple supermarkets just down the road (Aldi, Lidl and Asda), and even more a mile or so away if you head into Bolton town centre (Sainsbury's and Morrisons). 3* - Not too bad, I would have liked to see a Subway or Starbucks location here, but I presume they decided against that as both brands have stores nearby on Manchester Road, I do feel access as a pedestrian from the main road could be better without having to walk onto the forecourt (moving cars = dangerous!)

It'll get you covered if you just need something in a jiffy, but you'd do well to go elsewhere for your main shopping.

There are regular instore offers and tastings and the staff are really helpful.

This store is a decent store but isn't a great place to do a weekly shop mainly due to the stock there, but on the other hand i does have some cool things about it, including being the home to Blackburn's Amazon Lockers which are quite a cool way to receive and return parcels when sold directly from Amazon. This supermarket also has a cafe. In some ways, it just feels like it has been left behind, walking up to the supermarket in a way feels like walking into an abandoned building, there is so much empty space and sadly it just doesn't feel nice. Overall, the selection in stores is quite poor for most items, even the gluten free selection was poor as well as the selection for other items as well. The staff didn't seem too helpful either, and that's if I could even find them! The game selection was so poor, there was probably about 4 or 5 games with some prices of good value and some prices highly overpriced, but it was so few in number they might as well not have it, and it was just a fraction to what I would normally see in a supermarket elsewhere, for example this game selection was smaller than what you would see for just one console in another supermarket. Frustrating. Overall, the store not only lacks the feel of a good supermarket, it has a poor selection too with some items which were highly overpriced, while also taking poor service into account I sadly feel the only two strong points for this branch of Morrisons is the location and having Amazon Lockers, which in its' own isn't enough to warrant anything over a single one star, in all honesty the Amazon Lockers would even be better to be located across the way in The Mall.

The toilets are very hit and miss-on my last visit with two out of the three toilets being out of order not good on a busy weekend! Another HUGE disappointment is the cafe no longer run by Tesco. Unless you are starving avoid(and if you do feel you HAVE to eat choose carefully) The breakfasts are particularly dreadful. The store itself is decent. The first section is the newspapers and magazines ,this is always well stocked with an amazing array of titles. There is a very large book section and the stationary section has a large amount card making essentials. The huge amount of seasonal items ensures that there are regularly great bargains to be had. This Tesco has a very high number of items reduced to clear.(bargains I have managed to get have included a exercise bike,(£19) a blender juicer,(£7.50!) a electric drill(£5) and a belt sander(£5) The clothing bargains are also well worth checking out. I always like going to the second floor as I like the music they play! and I also seem to get loads of reduced things. These include clothing but also a DAB radio and some great CD's. The first floor is quite spacious and it is easy to browse round. The ground floor is slightly more crowded. They now have a pharmacy which is very useful. The cosmetic and toiletry section are well stocked and regularly have decent offers. The fruit and veg section is well stocked but very cramped the amount of continuous filling up that goes on makes it more like an assault course than a shopping experience.(the bruise on my foot took two weeks to fully clear Melons are hard and they HURT!) The bakery is good and the actual bakers are helpful and friendly however not all of the bakery staff share the bakers attitude. Despite Tesco Irlam being huge often it is hard to negotiate and rather unpleasant. The reason for this??? The obsession that this branch has with home shopping there are LOADS of those dratted trolley things, whats more they won't give an inch to mere customers. It is not unusual to see three in one isle-VERY difficult to pass(and impossible if they don't want you to do so!) Parking is good with a very large quite well lit car park. It is a twenty four hour shop open between 8am Mon- 10pm Sat. The store is situated just of the A57 and also has a petrol station. One additional point to note is there is a Lidil about 30 seconds away which is also worth a look. All in all a good store with fantastic bargain hunting potential. Downside facilities need sorting and oh those home shopping trollies!!

A pretty large ASDA store and one of the easiest large supermarkets to access from Manchester City…read moreCentre, just hop on the tram at Piccadilly Gardens and get off a couple of stops later at Velopark, which is right outside the supermarket. The location is good, being opposite the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City, do bear in mind on a match-day it can get super busy with football fans and the sale of alcohol to those attending the match is suspended due to police regulations. For such a large store, I do find the product range disappointing, I am never able to get all the items I want to come in for, which are often sold at smaller ASDA stores, which is strange. On a more recent visit, I noticed the few remaining Starbucks Nespresso capsules to be ripped open, it seems people had taken out the capsules and put back the cardboard holder. There is a Supercuts inside the store too, one of their two Manchester locations. There is also a Greggs, Opticians and Pharmacy area. As with any ASDA store, they do offer their Scan and Go app, where you can scan items as you shop and bag them up, using your phone. The staff seem friendly enough too. For such a large store, the product range could certainly be better, but they do offer good facilities and the location is good too, being right opposite what could possibly be the most beautiful football stadium in England in the Etihad Stadium, and being so close to Manchester city centre, whether that be via its' large car park (which also has a Timpson) or via bus or Metrolink services. 4* - Not a bad way to mark my first review in 2021 by upgrading this location from a three-star rating in 2014 to four now!
