The chaps outside aka the rude boys are to be avoided and sadly most of them rent their vehicles from the car rental place down the road, which is obvious when you see how badly they drive.

As the others have mentioned, reasons 2 and 3 are strictly for bad boys and reason 4 costs you a couple of quid, so pop up the road to HSBC where you can access your hard-earned cash/student loan for free.

The petrol is a little bit more expensive compared to Tesco and Asda locations, both of which are a short drive around the road, and the shop area could do with a refurb even if it is just basic twitches, as that doesn't seem to have been improved in years. 3* - OK, useful stop along Rochdale Road but really could do with a refurbishment and slightly lower petrol pricing.

BP Nimblenook is run by BP with a Best One store, which is quite large…read more For a BP garage the petrol prices were very good, If I remember correctly they were 122.9 on my recent visit, this isn't the best you can get but still for a BP garage it suprises me in a good way, especially being a good few pennies cheaper than their Alkrington branch. This store is open all days, including Sunday's and accepts Nectar Cards. The store really stands out in the dark, as quite bright and actually is quite nice for a garage, as the store is very big and the petrol prices are good, especially if you consider it is a garage and it is BP, so I have to give 3 stars, I would of gave 4 but I am unfamiliar with it's car washing and jet washing facilities due to visiting in the dark and as far as I'm aware, it isnt a 24 hour store.

BP are one of the biggest names in garages and this is one of their best for faciliites, not just…read moreincluding Petrol, The Petrol prices are good but I wouldn't recommended filling up your tank here because compared to ASDA and Tesco, the prices are high but if you are passing through Rochdale on the motorway, this is very close to an exit so is better than paying prices at service stations, In this garage, they is a Starbucks, Spar shop, Ambala, Subway and Starbucks On The Go Machine so it is like a mini-service station without service station prices considering the facilities, The Starbucks store isn't the best but they still can make a nice coffee and sell some good memorabilia. One thing I do not like is, if you are coming down towards this garage, you have to go into a side street, wait at the lights and go back down the road if in the car, but to be honest it is just the way the road is set out, and it isn't the garages fault. The garage (not the Starbucks) is open 24 hours, 7 days a week so that is quite useful too. This store also has a Jetwash and Carwash and is one of the bigger BP garages, that does most things you would expect from some BP Garages so I do have to give 4 stars as this is probably one of the best BP garages in the North West. UPDATE: In November 2014 it seemed I run out of superlatives to describe this garage, and I can't help but feel having visited over 39 times now (the amount of check-ins I have in Yelp) I was in awe of this petrol station having a Starbucks, which is simply an average Starbucks with much higher pricing due to being a franchise store, with my drink costing 50p more in the worst of cases. I also feel the petrol prices at this petrol station is too high, even compared to other BP garages and a Tesco store, literally so close you could push your car to it, I can't help but feel I was far too generous when originally reviewing this place, and although I don't feel a new review is necessarily as there isn't much more to say, that I have not originally said, I still feel this BP branch only deserves a two star rating, and is around the middle of the two star scale at around a 2.4 or a 2.5.

The store is a decent size, of course selling petrol with the BP garage attached, hence it also accepts Nectar cards. The staff here really didn't seem helpful or friendly at all, which was a real shame. The items inside the store were slightly overpriced such as the drinks, there was a good, large selection of beverages in the fridge, however, some of which were slightly overpriced, mainly down to the location, of course being in a garage/service station. Inside, it is okay, perhaps just average, it doesn't seem to have had any refurb or modernisation, in the past few years which is also a shame. I'm struggling to add anything else, this store is okay and it is open 24-7 but due to some issues with the service, overall feel of the store and pricing I sadly feel this SPAR branch on Manchester New Road, deserves just two stars.
