There is so much to see! Many of the vendors have upped their game and will showcase their items in a well designed area meant to draw you in! You will find many original up cycled pieces that are not necessarily antiques but are one of a kind. Trust me when I say, no matter what your looking for, or even what you thought you didn't need but had to have, you will find it here! It may take you all day to dig through everything, but you will probably leave with some small trinket or a big massive wardrobe from the early 1900's! After you spend the day treasure hunting there are plenty of great places to take a break and reload right on site! My favorite is the wood fired pizza truck! There is also Marty's Waffle truck (sinful but yummy). If neither of these do it for you there are a few other places that offer BBQ, hot dogs and brats, breakfast sandwiches, and kettle corn. When the wind is blowing the whole place smells like food, you won't be able to resist! Seriously you should make your Sunday an adventure and head out just make sure you go on the 3rd Sunday of the month April through October!

Like all shows, this one has seen a definite decline. I arrived early, I highly recommend this to beat the crowds. Parking was easy and straightforward. The staff friendlty and helpful. Variety was decent with a mix of some antiques, collectibles and some junk. If you are looking for furniture or other larger items, skip this show. There is far less furniture now than in years past. Very heavy on glass and china. Thin on unique items. Prices variable but dealers seemed flexible.

Not a problem for us, we expected as much. The nice thing about going so late was that a lot of the vendors were ready to leave and wanted to make a deal. I would love to see the selection if we went earlier bc we found quite a few treasures in the 1.25th a we were there. Treasurers from every era and at great price points. Vintage Delicate Japanese tea sets, MCM decanters, records, pottery, vintage advertising- it had it all! Some vendors definitely snuck in a couple of things that were newer, but all in all it was the promised 25yrs or older. If you love treasure hunting this is a great place to go. Things to note: -the fee is now $4 -ample free parking -food and drink vendors available (try the kettle corn) -full sun -vendors leave early on slow/hot days (who can blame them?)

You can go from a booth selling vintage Barbies from Japan to one that makes jewelry from billiard balls or tables from drums. Goods for every budget and price point. Vendors are friendly as well, and there are even food vendors so you can make an entire day of your visit!

This antique store has a hidden gem secret.....inside is a cream parlor that serves the best ice…read morecream in the Midwest. The ice cream is handmade by Sister Cleo, a 91 year old nun. All the ingredients are made by Cleo from scratch. For example, she extracts sassafras roots for the root beer flavor in her root beer ice cream. She offers about a dozen flavors, including a special flavor each month. My husband had an ice cream cookie sandwich, which he devoured so fast I couldn't get a photo. I had a cone filled with caramel ice cream which was creamy and of course, heavenly. So here's the best part...I went outside to eat my cone in their little garden. Sister Cleo was just arriving to work in her electric mobile chair from the nearby convent and we chatted. She is charming and interesting. So, there are antiques in the little shop. Jim, the clerk was kind and invited us to look around. They carry a nice selection of primitive and mostly American antiques. There are clocks, paintings, ancient kitchen ware, pottery, local artifacts and so much more. Prices were a bit steep for me, but I enjoyed looking. A tempting Circus poster caught my eye. So no matter where you are in the world, jump in your car, get on a plane, hop on a boat, get to Oldenburg, Indiana and try one of Sister Cleo's ice creams. And I hope you get to meet her. There is free street parking and the building is accessible.
