Roslyn's methods for directly strengthening my relationship with my wife in a period of transition were earnest. However, there was inadequate time to delve into our underlying relationship dynamic and the serious challenges that a big move to the Philippines would exert on us as a couple and as individuals. In this sense, I did not feel adequately prepared. I would have preferred more time spent on exploring the implications of such a move for our paths than developing methods that may or may not work in a far different context. We only had time and funds to go for five sessions, so this also was a factor. As I edit this review after a couple of years, Roslyn's help did work in unexpected ways. Whatever was not provided by her, I learned to develop for myself. I learned to adapt and decide, to initiate and develop my talents. So in the end, I am in a good place. Roslyn works in good faith. Her "live and let live" philosophy will work for some and not for others. (I am an Aries, so, as you can imagine, it wasn't my preferred style.) Roslyn is kind, soft-spoken, calming, and perceptive. She lends a productive introspection to the future, but is less strong on producing the tools and foundation to develop stronger direct engagement with intense changes. Couples counseling is very tough work especially when dealing with emerging fundamental philosophical differences between spouses. If this is your situation, It would be better to get a counselor professionally certified in couples or pastoral counseling and/or read "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" (John Gottman) and do the exercises. In sum, if you are a fairly aligned couple or open-minded individual looking for some clarity, Roslyn will suit you. If your relationship involves lack of alignment or contention over core issues, it would probably be better to see someone else.

Since I consulted with Sasha Lee in 2015 for my parents' home, she mirrored a lot of my concerns about that house. We set up a plan of action then that got me results, so when I changed residence, I knew I needed to consult with her again. She brought Finola with her again (on a crazy rainy and windy day!!) and they analyzed my home...asked me what my goals were and what problems may occur...and gave suggestions. Listening to these wonderful ladies and their suggestions, kept my head busy as far as the short term and long term goals and plans. Don't get me wrong, there is no magic wand that can zap away life's issues. However, if there was some sort of insight you could receive in improving your life's circumstances, why not try feng shui? There are some things you'd have to invest in such as self motivation, being open minded, time, money, and patience to see results. But if you're looking to try classical feng shui...because there is a difference between Western and Classical and I have tried both (I'd go with Classical personally), do an in person consult with her.
