He was…read moredelighted to find Motel du Fleuve, as it was around 15 minutes away from where we go every year to a family BBQ. From the outside, it looks adorable, and the price was good. They told us at the beginning that this was a non-smoking room, and we both were very very happy to hear that. Also, the motel's proximity to the river was excellent, so we could have a grand vista upon opening up our door. As soon as we approached our room, and opened the door, the stench of cigarettes was so thick, I thought we'd get cancer sleeping there. Also, I am disabled, and there were no bars in the shower, nor near the toilet. While the bed seemed ok, we could not get rid of the stench of the cigarettes. There were not enough towels for us to bathe. It took a few phone calls to finally get some. There were these series of hooks on the wall, and so since there were no closets, my husband took one of his linen summer shirts that was on a wire hanger, and hung it on a hook. What happend next? That little light shirt on a wire hanger pulled all those hooks down. We were hysterical, that something so minute could do something like that. Lucky I didn't have to hang up any underwear! I need a desk, chair and a lamp to put on makeup. I always bring a magnifying mirror with me. I set up my makeup mirror, and take out all my makeup, went to turn on the desk lamp, and what do you think? It didn't work! had no light to get dressed. We were supposed to stay three nights, had to leave after two. I do not recommend this motel for anything at all. It could have been a very pleasant stay, but it was not. I think these people that own the place do not care about it whatsoever. If I could have given it a half a star, I would have.

It's 4.75 for a shot of spirits and add the mix so 7 bucks for a drink 4 for a beer which is a little steep. The room had one queen bed, a desk, a small round pub like table with two chairs, a fridge, a TV hung in the corner of the room. The room only came with two thin pillows, ask the desk for more they won't be enough. There is an air conditioner mounted in the window, worked great for the size of the room. The sheets were adequate, no comforter or duvet just the thick top sheet and dust cover. The water pressure was fantastic. The hot takes a bit to get going but we always had hot water. The bathroom is clean and isn't cramped. You may hear the water turning on in other rooms , the pipes in the walls, but outside of that it seemed to be sound proofed pretty good. We couldn't hear any TV's in other rooms or any other noises for that matter. WIFI signals are strong but the internet is very slow. Good for checking the news but don't plan on streaming Netflix or any services like that. We were constantly getting bumped off the WIFI and having to reconnect although the signals strength was great. Wasn't a huge concern for us. TV has lots of English channels which was surprising and awesome. The location is east shore of the river across from Montreal, directly on the river on a bike/walking path that goes up to a small park. It is off the beaten path but you can catch an UBER into Montreal on St Catherine st for about 16 bucks. It's the same price to get into Brossard to shop so why not go into Montreal? The only pizza place that delivers is COMO. It's okay, typical regional type pizza place, awesome amounts of cheese on the pizza, pepperoni under the crust. $40 for two mediums with two toppings then add tip. For the price and the service this place was an absolute gem and we had no major complaints. The location is out of the way from everywhere but if you compare to paying for parking and the hassle downtown Montreal you might as well come here and grab an UBER into town and back.

Even though the rooms are probably considered small, they don't feel quite so small due to the boutique and space and energy saving aspects of the rooms. The bed was comfy the bathroom was unique in that it had a bench below the towel racks. The room keys double as your proximity door lock and as a master on/off device for your lights. The 7th floor has an outside terrace with a nice view of the surrounding area. The hotel does not include a restaurant, but food options and coffee service are available. There are a few restaurant and fast food options in the vicinity. However, the hotel is not convenient to the Metro. Your options are to get a bus, a ride, or walk a minimum of 12 minutes. Rooms are relatively quiet but not soundproof - you will hear neighboring doors close, the elevator if nearby, and traffic outside. I wish that either the blinds were a bit better at blocking light or that room-darkening curtains were available, as street light did shine through the blinds at night. Parking is available in a garage under the hotel, however the price per day goes up if you take your car out on any day(s) . My stay here was pleasant, but I personally prefer a hotel closer to the Metro when in Montreal.

My friend and I walked away in silence and immediately looked at each other like, "Was that real?" It was just an oddly unpleasant interaction that set the tone. On the positive side, the rooms are big and clean. Every housekeeper we passed in the hall was incredibly warm and friendly. A couple things to note: 1) no valet, and 2) in our room, the shower feels like it's in the middle of the space and lacks basic privacy. Totally fine if you're with a best friend or partner, but I would've been mortified if I were sharing the room with anyone else. Not sure if it's just this layout or if all the rooms are like that. Our room was small but very nicely decorated. The woman checking us in was very thorough and even walked us to the room to show us around. Free wifi that worked great. There's a complimentary breakfast and it had a very big selection. Bagels, meats (including brisket), fruit, juices and coffees. There is a colony of feral cats right outside that live near the stream. I did feed them some bacon from breakfast as we saw 7 different cats in the short time we were there. Someone is feeding them as they have dishes - poor things outside in this cold weather. My only complaint was the bed. If you like a very hard (think rock hard) mattress then this bed is for you. I'm not a fan of super hard beds. Everything else was very nice and I would stay again.

While it is currently linked to Hilton's Curio Collection, it is very inaccurately assigned. While it's smaller and does not have a ton of amenities like pool and spa, it is a true 5 star property. Previously a Loews brand property, which is a great introductory level 5 star hotel brand, Vogue is a rare collaboration with Vogue magazine establishing a property that is genuinely beautiful. Provoking furniture that is a lot more art than it is furniture is throughout, phishing boundaries of modernity and futurism. Staff are extremely professional. The bar and restaurant are remarkable. Rooms are gorgeous. As a whole, this property is a hidden gem of Montreal.

The amenities were nice even though I didn't drink any of the booze in the fridge. Too bad all the fridge space was taken up by the alcohol I don't dare touch in fear of being charged. The tub didn't seal all the way, so it drained while I was trying to have a nice soak. My spouse got food poisoning from the undercooked steak we had for breakfast during our last day. Thankfully we had access to late check-out so that he could recuperate before we began returning home.

He was hospitable, knowledgeable, sweet, and so accommodating. He absolutely made our stay wonderful! Next, our accommodations were amazing. We felt like we were in Europe. The room was perfect and so clean! It was huge, spacious, and luxurious. we can't stop raving about it! Lastly, the hotel location is unbelievable - right in the center of everything. Close to fine dining, fine shopping and sight seeing! We can't wait to come back and stay here again!!

Amenities: front desk staff is very helpful, free wifi, free calls to the US and Canada, shopping and cafes are very close, Place des Arts metro station is nearby. Quirks: no elevator, shower is on the small side, hot water may take several minutes depending on the time of day you use it. I don't have a car here so I can't comment on the parking.
