Our room was an interesting setup. Only complaints here would be the remote not pulling up the entire menu and the old wooden doors to the bathroom. Also, the pool area looked pathetic (it is winter, but did not look like a pool you wanted to get in). There is an Applebees and Epic Buffett nearby, along with a Kohls. Access to Highway is convenient. Overall, a good experience.

We stayed 5 nights at Comfort Suites in Simpsonville, SC…read more It needs a lot of renovation. There was no room number outside the door. Our room had MOLD growing. It had been painted over. It bugs me that they painted over it instead of dealing with it correctly. The hotel was full (at least for King beds) so my husband sealed it off with plastic sheeting and tape so we wouldn't have to deal with switching rooms.) Our mold was "the devil you know." We didn't want to take a chance on unknowns. Besides the mold, the room overall was just okay. The TV was frustrating - a guide to channels would have been useful. The internet was slow at times. The bed was VERY FIRM and not really comfortable. The bedding was CLEAN. The bathroom was clean (besides the mold) but the tub had huge chips in it and the walls around it had indentations where shelves used to be. The toilet paper roll holder was loose so the roll kept falling off. There were plenty of towels and they were clean. There was a lack of information given at check-in or within the room. I didn't know if there was maid service or if I could get new towels, get the garbage dumped, etc., so I chased down a cleaner one morning with my full garbage bag and asked for a new bag. The breakfast was good and had many choices. The breakfast area was clean. The orange juice was super watered down.

The second room was never cleaned by house keeping. The bed was unmade, there were towels all over the floor and garbage everywhere. We had traveled all day and called other hotels after the three rooms and there were no an availability nearby. So we went to Walmart and bought bleach cleaner and new pillows and pillowcases, came back and cleaned the shower and went to sleep. Upon our 8 day stay, housekeeping did not clean our room one time. We had to ask for clean towels and carry our dirty ones out of our room several times. We even emptied our own garbage twice. We asked to speak to management 3 times and were always told the manager was not in. The last two days we were at the hotel our room keys stopped working because of some electrical issue and we had to be escorted to our room EVERY SINGLE TIME we left the room to be let in. I have stayed in MANY Marriott hotels and have never had an experience like this. I would NOT recommend this hotel nor would I ever stay here again. (I also called Marriott customer service to escalate my issues and never heard back from corporate either. I was told someone would contact me. Well it's been almost a week and have heard not a peep from hotel management OR corporate.)

The lobby is very modern and clean, and the staff was very outgoing and friendly. The rooms were spacious, and linens were extremely clean. Really the best way to describe everything here is extremely new and clean. The usual things to expect like the ice machine on each floor were all in perfect working order. Outside they have a pool, which isn't huge but is big enough to have a swim and relax. The pool is also handicap accessible, and there's a changing room outside as well. In the parking lot there's plenty of parking, and the hotel shares a lot with KFC and Burger King if you need a quick meal. The lobby really stood out, this location offers a full breakfast with hot food in the mornings and Gerri, one of the staff members treats the lobby and kitchen like you're visiting her house. She was really nice and very helpful with anything you need. Further amenities include a work station, meeting room and believe it or not, a gym with free weights and cardio machines. The motel is close to the interstate with exterior entrances, so if you're on the side near the interstate, you will hear noise. Our room was small, but the king sized bed was comfortable. We didn't find any bedbugs, hair, or any other questionable items- and we looked under the fitted sheets and mattress cover just in case. The room and bathroom were both very clean. The bathroom also had a tub, which is rare these days (and from what I've read, typically one of the dirtiest parts of a hotel room). We didn't use the tub. The wifi was free and worked fine for one night and general browsing on our phones. The refrigerator kept our sodas/juice cold for the next morning, and we didn't use the microwave or coffee maker, although the room does have them. Our stay wasn't bad, but Quality Inn has weird policies. First, our room required a $50 deposit. The room itself was under $80 on a Tuesday night and we booked with a credit card, so the deposit seemed odd. The manager explained that it is to cover folks who smoke in non-smoking rooms, and they inspected our room before we checked out and refunded our money. The continental breakfast area had a sign saying that all breakfast must be eaten in that room, which I've never seen before. However, we grabbed a bite to go after checking out and turning in our key, and the management seemed okay with that. Maybe people take it back to the room and leave it messy? Quality Inn is no frills, and if we were in the area longer, we would have splurged for something nicer. All we did in the room was sleep, so the small size didn't bother us. It was close to the concert venue, and several fast food options are nearby (Wendy's, Taco Bell) as well as Waffle House. If you're a well-behaved grownup, this motel is A-OK for a night.

He gave it 3 stars, good flavor and light but small on size. I got the smoked and seared prawns, they came swimming in sauce and could have been mistaken for soup. They were whole prawns chopped in half with the shell and tail still on and also the heads complete with legs- inedible and impossible to eat....sent back Ambience was beautiful and the aperol spritz drink I had was delicious. A five-star Courtyard by Marriott exists and it's in Greenville, SC…read more We do a fair amount of road trips to see family around the holidays and Courtyards are my #1 choice for a typically quick, safe and clean stay along the way, far better than most roadstop hotels in the same price range (I will never stay at a Super 8 or Motel 6 again if I can help it). Not all Courtyards are created equal and I've had some not so great experiences (Montgomery, AL) but the vast majority are satisfactory given the usual price in the 100-150 dollar range (which I guess goes up depending on demand). But this Courtyard in Greenville now stands out as exceptional. Check-in was quick and friendly (and yes, there was someone at reception. That's not always the case at Courtyards, especially after 10pm). Our room was spotless and the temperature, just right. It was unseasonably warm out so we had a little AC going to keep it cool when sleeping. Bed and linens were comfortable, affording a great night's sleep and our room was quiet. The hallways did not smell of weed either (flashback again to Montgomery). Although I didn't use the gym, I went in to refill my water bottle and it looked like a decent space to get in a good workout. I also saw an outdoor pool. The lobby area is large and was decorated with big Christmas trees. It seemed like a decent place to spend time if you want to get out of the room for a bit when on a work trip or something. I would absolutely choose to stay here again and I'm already planning on it for Xmas 2026.

She was able to even give us a restaurant recommendation of a good place to eat and checked to make sure they were still open. Her kindness was put us at ease and relaxed us after a long day on the road. Alice truly provides exceptional customer service and is one of the finest people Ive ever encountered in the hospitality industry. Drury Hotels is truly lucky to have such a wonderful associate greeting everyone who walks in the door. After returning from a great meal at Carolina Ale House, we met Lukisha at the front desk. She too was kind, patient and friendly. She even showed me the pool and how you can swim in and swim out of the indoor/outdoor pool. I thanked her for all of the information she gave and questions she answered and was amazed at the kindness and respect we were given and shown. I was surprised at breakfast the next morning when Lukisha walked around the breakfast room, greeting and saying hello to EVERYONE! That really woke me up and made me feel good. She spent some time interacting with a family behind me and she has a true knack for dealing with kids. We saw her again at dinner and she was greeting guests and stopped at a table with an infant. Apparently it was his birthday, so Lukisha began singing Happy Birthday to the little tyke and others joined in. As a former concierge, I was truly impressed by the accommodations we had in our hotel room and all the amenities Drury Hotels offer; I've never stayed at a nicer hotel that truly had travelling guests needs and wants in mind, but to find an AMAZING hotel at a reasonable price with top notch customer service from the kindest and most friendly staff I've ever encountered has really made an impression on me. I will definitely recommend Drury Hotels to family, friends, associates, acquaintances and any and everyone needing to book a hotel. And a special shout out/customer kudo to both Alice and Lukisha for the wonderful jobs they do and the smiles they put on faces. Thank you ladies! You're both AMAZING!!!
