When my husband tried to get clarity on a mistake they made, the manager arrogantly barked, 'Let me set you straight,' and was incredibly ignorant when speaking to my husband. We booked three nights but ended up fleeing after two. On the second day, our room keys stopped working. The front desk clerk had the audacity to tell us we no longer had a room because it had supposedly been cleaned for the next guest; despite my infant and I being in the room all day and having it reserved for another night. Apparently a different clerk had made two separate reservations for us instead of one. We added a third night and requested to stay in the same room, 1 King Bed, Suite. Moe assured us that it wouldn't be a problem. The following morning Alana, called to tell us we had to switch rooms because our original room had a tub/shower and the new one assigned to us had just a shower, an utterly ridiculous excuse being there were no visible specifications in the room descriptions. Furthermore we should been informed when we requested to remain in our current room. There was no price difference or any indication that the rooms were different despite being titled the same. We canceled the third night and left, thankfully our power was restored at our home shortly after! Ruston, LA's Sleep Inn should rename itself Sleep OUT. Two-star hotel, two-star service, zero professionalism, and zero common sense. Whoever gave this place two stars was being extremely generous; it deserves One at best. If other hotels hadn't been booked, we never would've stayed, and now we know exactly why their rooms were still available. This staff will run this hotel straight into the ground if they haven't already!

It is always heated to perfection. The hot tub is also nice. Me, my wife, and our four children always have a great time here.

Nursing home across the street, also on a dead end road so you could park your trailer there if necessary. It is located on the frontage road. Stacey checked us in and was highly professional, greeted me as a member. Also had some suggestions about restaurants in case we needed some. Room was extremely nice and comfortable, love the setup with the closet desk ensemble, sorry I did not get a picture. Breakfast was great all you would expect at a HIE good standards. Decaf coffee is available in the morning. They do accept pets, charge is $50.00 only stayed one night so not sure if it maxes out after so many days. Wish the rate was on the web site. Overall a good stay and would stay here again.

It smelled like wet dog and a division 3 boys football team after practice in the heat of summer. We went in, smelled the room, gagged a bit, and hauled butt out. They had this weird rainbow air purifier in the room (that's the picture attached) so they had to have known it stunk. It was on floor 4 maybe in the 420s??? Thankfully, the worker at the time named Sterling was very accommodating and got us into a new room immediately. Then we were on the 2nd floor i forgot where exactly but the early 200s. It smelled... better.... we went back to the car and basically gassed the place in lysol. highly recommend bringing a can if you intend to stay there. The shower floor was literally so nasty and there was someone else's food still in the fridge. Breakfast was good and luckily they had different kinds of milks for allergy people such as myself. (almond, soy, ect) We also just had a really eery feeling the whole time we were there. It was lwk scary and I did not sleep well. We also got 2 random calls from reception at almost 10:30 pm asking to confirm the last name on the reservation. Like what?! Can this not wait till morning. Also. The cookies in the lobby don't get refreshed till 4pm. I know it's not of utmost important but i wanted a cookie after a long drive . Anyway, yeah!! Bring a can of lysol and your own cookies and you should be good! Oh, and maybe some shower shoes.

I'm here for 3 weeks and I've come to appreciate my new alarm clock in the form of drills and hammers banging on the walls below me lol. It's all good though. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I've lodged at numerous hotels and I'm all for upgrading, especially when it enhances the guest experience. So, for the good....the room is spacious, including the bath area. The bed is comfy, the AC gets extremely cold and the blackout curtains are fantastic!! The lobby and dining areas are very nice, updated and comfortable for your leisure time. There is a gym and pool on the first floor across from the elevator. Breakfast is your usual. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal with all of the fixins' and condiments. Yogurt, juice, fruit, breads and coffee. For the not so great, there aren't enough electrical sockets in my room and the fridge is rather small. I wish there were rooms with bigger fridges for longer stay guests. Other than that, I'm very well pleased and would certainly recommend this establishment for lodging.

Only shining star was the lady that serves breakfast. Stay with caution.

The room wasn't bad but the noise level from outside is crazy. It literally sounds like the windows are wide open or you're camping outside next to a noisy highway. I don't dare call or go down to tell them. I don't want to confuse the confused or have her have to deal with anything else since she's not the person that normally works the front desk. It's also a law suit waiting to happen, I almost burned myself because the water nozzle doesn't actually do what it's supposed to do. It just stays at one temp until you can somehow jiggle the thing enough to confuse it.. lol a freaking mess!!

The sink had hair in it, the bed had hair as well, and the floor was dirty. The towels and oversized pillowcases looked very dingy and did not appear clean. We actually had to go to the front desk and ask for a broom so we could sweep the floor ourselves, which should never be necessary at any hotel. Although the hotel advertises a no-smoking policy, the hallways were filled with smoke and the smell eventually started seeping into our room. That made the stay even more uncomfortable. The staff was also not very friendly or welcoming. I can tell this may be a family-owned hotel, but the cleaning standards and overall service need serious improvement. For the price we paid over $350 for two nights the quality of the room and the experience was very disappointing.
