Fairly basic, nothing great or terrible. If you're looking for a cheap, no-frills stay, this place will do the trick. Unlike many Motel 6s, this one is not a modern or renovated property. While the premises is in fair condition, portions of it are slowly becoming a bit out-dated. Regardless, check-in was quick and there were no major issues with the room. I was confused by the numerical ordering of rooms, so it can be a bit challenging to find where you're staying if you don't look at the map. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and was a bit squeaky and rigid to sleep on. The bathroom did look like it was relatively new, so it was very clean in there. Overall, the room was very limited without many amenities, not even any tissues to be found. The location is displaced several miles south I-40, so keep that in mind if you are traveling. While I don't think I would go out of my way to stay here again, I would recommend this Motel 6 if you need an inexpensive, safe place to stay for a night. read more

Okayish- free ice, clean, bedbug cover on mattresses and super futuristic looking furniture. This was more like a hostel, but one of the better motels I have stayed at. Besides a creepy/stalkerish woman that kept popping up everywhere (she was placed next door to us) it was a fine stay. We were driving across country and for distance-reasons, wanted to stay in Fort Smith. We were also travelling with our dog. And we wanted the room to be cheap. With restrictions like that, you get what you get. For two people, we only paid $55 (after taxes). The room itself wasn't dirty, but there were uneaten pizza crusts on the ground outside in the parking lot which gave the impression that your room was going to be dirty. The bathroom wasn't renovated, so it had an old dingy feeling. There was one weird thing - the housekeeper didn't have a trolley for his new towels and soaps, he used a shopping cart. This place was great for crashing for one night, and then heading out the next morning. You could park your car right outside your door and that made unloading a breeze. read more

This was the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed at! I have stayed at many Motel 6 over the years and have never seen one so bad. The room we got was so dirty. The bed had a strange charcoal substance under the covers. The room smelled like their were 10 cigar smokers in there at the same time. We were able to move to a new room that was better. However, getting into the second room was also a challenge as I needed to contort my body and kick the door and pray to the Motel 6 gods to get the door to open. Most Motel 6 rooms have the same basic furniture. This place did not have a lot of the typical furniture and the furniture that was there was VERY old. My big objection is that if you need a affordable motel, I choose Motel 6 to avoid situations just like this. I advise to avoid this Motel 6. read more

Checked in late in evening, Terri was working at front desk and he was really nice really professional! But after that the room we went to upstairs Rm 247 was so bad smelling it smelled like smoke so badly, then when I took off the cover blanket (like I do in all hotel rooms first) the beds were clearly not made...I used to be a housekeeper and yes you can tell when someone just looked at the sheets and thought it looked clean enough to not bother stripping the bed to wash the sheets. (Pictures below) we moved to RM 248 and that room smelled ok wasn't bad. Beds looked better than last room but still didn't look freshly made. Went outside to get stuff out of car and it was dark, sketchy and there were men hanging around in the parking lot....I would suggest better lighting... Check with housekeeper they are not doing their job. read more

Kinda terrible. This is not a great Motel 6. It was definitely not modern or reasonably clean. I've stayed at quite a few Motel 6's and I think I'm being reasonable. We weren't expecting much in terms of new-ness, cleanliness or comfort level. But what was bad was the noise, smoking and clientele. I'm not sure what was going on here but the night we stayed there was a lot of noise during the night (shouting/music) and at one point cops were called to the Motel 6 for one reason or another. The husband and I didn't pay too close attention or call to complain as to what was going on for the sake of wanting to remain undisturbed in our room. I wouldn't recommend staying here as it is below average on the main points that you hope to have covered in cheap motel - clean, safe & not noisy. This wasn't the worst Motel 6 I've ever been to (see my review of Rochester) but I would not recommend staying here. I shelled out the $10 extra dollars a night to move from the Westark 1 Inn. My main need was a bed, a decent temperature and for the love of god....decent wifi. Please, please if you run a hotel make sure the person can get on the internet and think about something about how irritated they are at gettting a $50 a night hotel room. My wifi worked about 50% of the time. Otherwise the place was fine. It'd been remodeled and things seemed clean, together and the amenities fine for an out of town traveler. I left my laptop and other things out in plain view and my bed was made, towels changed while nothing was touched. I'd have easily given a higher review if the wifi would have been consistent. read more

Pros: The manager comped room when complaint was made. He showed accountability and acknowledged there was a problem. Cons: This place is really filthy. I found needles in my room, and this seems to be a common problem there. My suggestion is do not stay here until the drug problem is resolved in the area. This was not a great place. The carpet was just "yuk". The place had a funky smell and the shower handle was hard to work with because it was so loose. The place had one of the worst beds I have ever had the misfortune of trying to sleep on. We did not have any noise problems. It was completely quiet and we weren't disturbed. For the money I think people are crazy to expect more. Everything seems clean, the parking lot as well lit. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. I didn't need Wi-Fi so I can't comment on that. You will need to provide your own shampoo. read more

We stayed at this motel from 7/22 to 7/23 2014 and we really enjoyed our stay. It was in a price range we could afford, easy access to our room....literally pull up and unload in 10 steps, and the pool was super clean and enjoyable. We met up with family who came over to the pool with us and we sat enjoying the warm evening together. The staff was super nice about the extra people there and they were super polite and fast checking us in when we got there. I wish every place was as easy to get to and as nice as the staff was there. I traveled from California to Florida and all the way back. They were one of the nicest places to stay. The accomodations were simple and plain but that is all we needed. read more

I would say this was above average for a Motel 6. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was extremely friendly, and the rooms actually had carpeting (rather than the normal bare floors this chain usually sports). There were no bugs or anything else disgusting in the room. My only issue was that wifi was not free. Come on, Motel 6, free wifi is really the least you can do for your customers. read more
