    Manager shawn very rude

This has been one of the worst experiences. I've had in a Motel 6 manager Shawn. Very rude, very uptight. Add me waiting more than half hour. So I could get my room previous. Cashier there was here informed me that there was no security deposit then Manager sean decides Intervene and my conversation once again. Telling me that there's a $50 deposit when the previous cashier told me that there wasn't. And once again when he was talking to me he was very rude. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. I rather stay in the middle of Los Angeles. Under a bridge, then in this place.

The worst MOTEL 6 that I've ever been to! We paid $85 + $25 deposit for a room that WAS NOT cleaned properly at all. Nothing was wiped down, floors weren't mopped with any type of cleaner. Top sheets were brand new clean, the sheets underneath (that we lay on) were stained with piss, makeup, marker & there was DOG HAIR everywhere. But to be aware of my 8 month old son that was going to be staying in the room & put us in that room was beyond me. No they didn't offer compensation or a refund, their solution was moving us to another room. SMH never again will I spend my money here.

Part 2 my second visit. Room 201. 1 light by Front door and 2 in bathroom. No fridge or microwave. Looked like someone was sitting on bed right before I walked in. It's a joining room.

We booked a room and there was roaches! We asked for refund and staff was compliant. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU LOVE ROACHES

Gaps so huge under the doors cockroaches can come in

0/10 RECOMMEND DO NOT COME HERE The absolute worst motel I've ever been to in all my years of living. First of all the shower is non adjustable, and the shower head is non existent. All of the towels have yellow or brown stains in them, and when I walked to the laundry room to get them washed, I was told they would have some towels for me ready in over an hour because they were washing. No extra towels is unheard of. Killed several baby roaches in the bathroom. Also, there was diarrhea on the 1st floor hallway the cleaning lady just pushed her cart past. And none of the cleaning staff here speak English so it is impossible to communicate. And there was no phone in my room. And gaps under the doors are HUGE

If I could give negative stars I would. I booked a room with double beds for my family of 5. We get to the reception desk and was immediately helped by one of their associates name "Sunny". He gave us our room key and told us our room number and didn't even inform us that our room would be difficult to find as it was located at the back through a door with a hidden hallway. We get to our room which was 2 flights up, elevator was out of order, my kids, husband and I carry up our luggages only to find out that our room had only one bed! So we go back down, drive back up to the reception desk and informed him that there was only one bed. Sunny then helped switch us to another room which was 3 flights up this time and I asked him to please make sure there's double bed because there are 5 of us. He reassured us that this room has it. So, we leave the premises to attend an event my family and I had planned to go to without going to our room to drop off all our stuff. When we got back, we took all our belongings and made our way to the new room Sunny put us in (mind you, 3 flights up and elevator was out of order!) again finding out that that room only had 1 bed!!! This time, I phoned the front desk to inform Sunny and all he told me to do was come to the front desk! Again, we drag our kids with our belongings back down and drove to the front desk. As you can imagine my husband and I were furious and confronted Sunny about it. We asked to speak to management and he points to the associate next to him who was assisting another customer at the time. So we waited to speak with him. At this point it was already late, we had the kids in the car and we were all tired. Spoke to the other associate only to find out that he wasn't management then Sunny goes on to say they both manage the front desk. Anyway, our problem wasn't resolved, they were "all booked" with the double bed rooms, we had no choice but to take the one bed room. My kids and I squeezed in one bed while my husband slept on the floor. Morning came, we checked-out, went to feed the kids and came back when the REAL general manager, LEO, came in. Spoke with him, voiced our frustration, told him I have videos of the whole ordeal that went on (which I am more than happy to show/post for people to see). Told Leo that the associates were in need of customer service training because how everything went down was unacceptable. Leo was nice enough to apologize, which was something that Sunny never did. Leo also was able to refund us more than 70 percent of our money back which was reasonable since we did still chose to stay. But I did inform Leo that I would be writing a review and posting photos of Sunny. Hoping disciplinary actions were made after we left. Nevertheless, my family and I will not be coming back to this establishment. Sidenote: the suite we were in had no microwave and Sunny wasn't able to provide extra pillows and blankets. For the inconvenience that was the least they could do and they couldn't even do that.

Room with dead roach and can of poison.

I was sent to 3 separate rooms. One was infested with roaches and had a can of poison. The second one was occupied with a person in it. The third room had shit and blood stained sheets. The front desk also had a roach running across it.

They did not let us know that they only clean rooms every 3 days, until we inquired why we had not received clean towels for the next day. Very vague information is given and it felt quite frustrating. The breakfast was ok. We have never been fans of powdered reconstituted egg products which we have come across with Hampton Inn's in the past. This location actually did provide what appeared to be a make your own sausage egg muffin situation, which included round whole eggs. This was the only good part of our stay. We will not return. We travel a lot and our childhood hometown was this area. It didn't feel welcoming nor, like home. They also need to tone down the extremely obnoxious smell in their lobby. It smelled like a Comet cleanser factory. Not a great scent especially if you have allergies.

NO REFUND or remedy has been offered or provided to guests for the inconveniences. Location: Many families going to Disney or on vacation, recently corporate relocations, folks flying out of LB Airport, and work travel folks tend to stay here. Conveniently located in an aerospace district and across from the Long Beach Exchange with many activity and food options. Minutes from Lakewood Center, LBCC, the beach and next to the airport. 5/5 stars Room: 1 bedroom suite, 2-burner kitchenette with spacious fridge. Comes complete with small table, 2 chairs, couch, ottoman. The kitchen utensils were a bit rough. The spatula handle would fall off and the front desk replaced with a much nicer one that worked great. The knives were flimsy and dull. I ended up buying two knives to do any productive cooking. There's only 1 very small pot. It's quite useless. I needed up buying a large 3inch deep, 10inch wide pan with lid to cook meals. I also bought a cutting board since which they had was too small. View from this room was bad and of a wall. Splurge for a nicer view. Bathroom tile had dark stains throughout that didn't come off when scrubbing. 4/5 stars TV Issue: First week, the remote in the bedroom didn't work. By the second I called and turns out, the TV had been swapped out previously to a newer model but the old remote hadn't been replaced yet. Engineering resolved quickly. 3/5 stars for the situation. WATER LEAKS: In 45 days, there have been 3 water leaks and the dishwater to the dining room has been broken. There have been 2 water shutoffs leaving all guests without jot water for 2 nights. The first one was rescheduled which was tricky to navigate best day to do laundry. Notes were posted throughout and an email within 24 hours of the shutoff. When the first leak occurred, I was woken up just before 6AM telling me I needed to let someone in the room immediately. Then asked for 10 minutes to get dressed. No one showed up for over an hour. I called the front desk, notified that the room had no standing water and only the dishwasher had been used since the prior day. I asked when the maintenance person was arriving as I needed to leave for work soon. Since I have a cat, the worker can't be in there with an animal. I needed to adjust my work schedule since I may need to bring the cat with me for the work to be performed. Shortly after this call, engineering arrived and cleared the room. I learned that this isn't the first leak in the hotel's near history. Corporate needs to inspect and do preventive maintenance on these pipes. 0/5 stars Cleaning and Dining: Cleaning staff and dining service staff are excellent. Delicious rotating daily menu. Going to miss the maple sausages and ancho crema. Cleaning staff was always great and checked in routinely if anything was needed as I opted to reduce to 1 cleaning a week vs 3 cleanings. 5/5 stars FRONT DESK: Some of the desk staff have a lot of room for improvement. Overall transfer of notes between shifts to prevent confusion. Majority of the staff have been very helpful. 3/5 stars Male staff front desk: I politely offered feedback about the shift hand off notes and was met with combative reaction. It was in regard to a rescheduled cleaning. It's a whole ordeal when you have an animal (cat). I have to take the cat for the cleaning to be delivered. That morning, it was 2 hours passed when the cleaners would normally arrive. I asked when to expect them to pack up the cat and be out for a few hours. Basically, the staff member said the request hadn't been left in the notes. I showed him on the logbook the notes and the original request setting up routine cleaning from October. He was a bit miffed and defensive. He ended up saying I could clean my own room and had cleaning staff send up vacuum, sheets, and towels for me to flip myself. See attached photos. What was interesting was during this conversation, the cleaning staff (which performed the rescheduled service properly), were already servicing the room. I ended up with a clean room plus second set of bagged towels, sheets, and a vacuum. Thankful for the cleaning staff doing their best. Terrible experience with the front desk guy. I offered kind conversation and tried to give constructive feedback to this individual. He was not receptive and defensive. Hopefully in the future, he'll be more willing to be more patient with a guest over a confusion on the hotel's end. In addition, I overheard the same front desk worker tell the maintenance/engineering staff to not note the new water leak by the business center unless a guests reports it. At this time, the hotel already had one hallway wing blocked off with plastic tarps to contain the work and leak. Safety is key and this was totally inappropriate! As soon as they left I went to the front desk to report it. Photos also included. 0/5 stars

You can imagine how livid we were; demanding for them to correct this; being forthright with the initial contract and the fact that there were no other rooms available on our fixed date. They exclaimed they (Salvation Army) were "dedicated" annual contractors and tried to insist having the nerve to try and downgrade the venue in the Dining Room!! This was utterly proposterious and outrageous, I was enraged and yelled at Angelica with just how appalled we were with this whole debacle -- an absolute disservice in having the audacity to treat their customers like this after we have already sent out physical invitations to our guests coming out-of-town and out-of-country. I had originally asked for a pool view but couldn't really see it from our room. Without hesitation, she said, "Give me a moment," and rearranged things to get us a room with a proper pool view. She handled everything with such kindness, a smile, and genuine care, it really made a difference. When we checked out, I believe the manager's name was Isaac (I didn't catch it for sure), and he was just as pleasant and professional. You could tell the way the place is run reflects strong, gracious leadership. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Clean, welcoming, and filled with kind people who truly care. Definitely two thumbs up!

I travel regularly for business and mostly stay with the Marriott brand. I have never experienced…read moreanything this terrible. This stay was far below expected standards in cleanliness & guest care. I would strongly advise against staying here. I endured an extended business stay at this property and from the start, the room was not properly cleaned -- food debris on the floors, a heavily soiled couch with crumbs throughout, and an unsanitary shower head that required replacement. Maintenance issues, including plumbing (foul smelling water) and power concerns, took days to resolve. Housekeeping was inconsistent and often unacceptable. On multiple occasions, floors were not cleaned, sheets were not changed, and visibly stained bedding was placed on the bed. Debris was left behind, including someone else's hair and trash, indicating the room was not properly serviced. Most concerning, I experienced insect activity and developed a significant bite during my stay that is still healing. A colleague on the same floor reported similar issues. This raises serious sanitation and health concerns. Despite multiple reports, concerns were dismissed or inadequately addressed at the management level. Rather than resolving the issues, responses were deflective and unprofessional. I ultimately had to escalate this matter to corporate to receive any acknowledgment. For a Marriott property, this is unacceptable and this establishment is unfit. I would never return to this property.
