No one in the church judged me instead they embraced me with open arms, prayed for me, poured into me, and uplifted me. That very 1st service I prayed and was prayed for at an alter call & my life has been diff since. I saw spiritual growth attending this church. Their website states that they are committed to the "Lutheran version of the Catholic faith," and while I'm not quite sure what that means because I didn't attend a service here, the architecture is nothing that you wouldn't find in a Catholic church They've got almost everything here, including lovely artwork that looks like it was lifted from an Orthodox church. It's really a lovely space, and there is a definite sense of calm and peace here. With the busy world (OK, it's only White Plains), just outside the door, it's nice that locals have the option of stepping into this quiet haven of repose for some contemplation. They don't make churches like this anymore, and that's a compliment.
