The music program is exceptionally strong, with top-notch directors and a roster of professional musicians that rivals those of NYC churches. Every Sunday they deliver concert-quality music, and there are opportunities for singing and playing handbells, at different levels, for anyone who would like to join. The program is excellent, somehow, without being exclusive or elitist. The Director of Children's and Youth Ministry, who runs the youth groups, is hilarious. The kids love him. He finds the right mix of games, lessons and fellowship to engage students, and ensures EVERY student feels welcome and part of the community. Last, but not least, the sermons are first-rate. From the pulpit, I want to learn something and be challenged to change something. I find that at RCB. The sermons are thought-provoking, assume (correctly) a high level of knowledge and sophistication of the congregation, and push each listener to reassess how his/her actions are reflective (or not reflective) of the week's Christian principle. We worried when we moved to the suburbs that we would not find a church that matched our family's differing interests and hopes for a faith community. We need not have. Over the past several years, RCB has become our family's home.

No one in the church judged me instead they embraced me with open arms, prayed for me, poured into me, and uplifted me. That very 1st service I prayed and was prayed for at an alter call & my life has been diff since. I saw spiritual growth attending this church. They really preach the word and they care about the members. It's a small baptist church in BX. My only reason for finding a new church home is because I loved and the distance I is very far from BX to Queens. They also do food pantries to help people I believe Tues is the day for that. Service starts about 10:30 AM Sunday's and there is also prayer meeting on Fridays most of the time. You will be blessed attending this place. I promise.

There are three services on Sundays and a Midweek Bible Study on Wednesdays. Throughout the week, different types of ministries cater to literally everyone: the young, the older, women, men, and more. If you've been interested in attending a Christian Church that focuses on scripture, look no further. The head pastor, Dr. Rev. There are a number of Sunday masses to choose from and the congregation including the priests is really friendly. There is a parking lot behind the church, which is convenient. The architecture of the church is beautiful and there is talk about renovating the rectory over the next few years to included classrooms and better accomodations for the priests in residence.

The congregation is on the small side, so we are never lost in a sea of people, or unable to make connections. I'm guessing there are generally between 70 and 140 people who come on any given Sunday. We are often away on the weekends, so cannot be at church every Sunday, and appreciate that we are welcomed warmly and never made to feel badly for not coming more regularly. If you wonder why I am posting this, I just happened upon yelp when I was searching the church online and saw that there is just one review. I thought back to how big a task it felt to find a church in the first place when we moved here. I searched online, knowing Baptist was a solid starting point, and found 3 in a radius around our home. One had no info on their website, and the other looked like it might have last been updated 10 years prior. Not really acceptable in this day and age. GBC had a good website at the time, so we gave it a try and were so pleased to find we were led to the right church on try one! If you are searching for a church, regardless of whether you are a strong believer who is firm in their faith, or one who just doesn't really know what they believe, I assure you, they will welcome you, but also release you. You'll have an opportunity to share your contact information on a card you drop in the offering plate. If you share it, but also note that you don't want to be contacted, they will honor your request. If you share it and ask for more information, they will absolutely follow up with you (but not hound you!). It is truly a Christ filled church. There are young families, singles, older families, elderly, multiples races represented in the congregation. You will fit right in :-)

The spirit of love in this church has deeply touched my family. GBC welcomes everyone. The members serving in the Children's Ministry are loving and sincere. I have twin babies in the nursery, a toddler, and a Kindergartner and I am thrilled with the classroom setting and age-level appropriate BIble teaching that my children receive every week from patient, caring, and loving volunteers. The worship service is from 9:30-10:30 and is followed by a 30 minute visiting/coffee/snack time (snacks are provided). Then from 11-12 children and adults can attend Bible classes - all of which are all wonderful. My husband and I look forward to the adult Bible class every week. It is one of the best we have attended. I cannot say enough about how much we love this church and look forward to Sunday mornings . This church is firmly rooted in Bible teaching and a genuine love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is extremely family friendly and the genuine spirit of the members speaks for itself.
