Edward Cohen MD quickly scheduled me in and did a thorough exam with x-ray and neuropathy tests. He found foot fungus, arthritis and bone spurs on both feet and ankles. 1st visit he gave shots into both ankles and put braces on both feet with planned follow-up, I came out of his office with such relief, NO Pain and stability I had not seen in years. He is a M.D. who handles all problems with the feet, including surgery if needed. I will graciously wait in his office to see him. HE is well worth waiting for and in great demand. He cut away part of the nail that was ingrown without using any type of numbing agent! It hurt like hell! Second, I have pain in my big toes at night. He didn't have any idea what might cause this. Third, I have pain in my heel and he said that was probably plantar fasciitis. His solution to fix these problems was a prescription of Ibuprofen 800mg. He never even mentioned exercise or stretching my feet for the plantar fasciitis until I asked him about it. I took the prescription to the pharmacy and asked them if I should be mixing Ibuprofen with the Celebrex I'm already on. She said the Celebrex was stronger than what he prescribed and that the two should not be mixed, that it could cause stomach problems. The Celebrex I take was listed on the papers I filled out prior to my appointment!!!! So I have nothing to help with the pain. This visit was a total waste of time. To make matters worse he had political stickers in his office which I find to be very inappropriate! Do not see this doctor!!!! He doesn't know what the hell is doing. I seemed to know more about plantar fasciitis than he did!

One of the assistants asked me some questions about my foot injury and then took me for X-rays. I went back to my room to enjoy my tea and not long after, Dr. Caplis came in.
