I walked in and she immediately and rudely asked me, "Can I help you?" It's not what she said it's how she it. She seemed bothered and annoyed that I walked. I obviously said that I need a haircut and and her reply was, "Well I charge $40." I replied back with a similar attitude because who wouldn't. One of his friends recommended this place and when checking out their website, he chose barber named Roberto. Coming inside the studio looked pretty cool and open. I loved the vibe! They got my stepson checked in and seated right away. I was offered water right away and Roberto started his magic while communicating with me after I showed him a picture example that my stepson wanted. Very easy-going guy, nice, friendly and when I decided to step away so he and my stepson can make conversations, I can see from the mirrors when checking on him from the waiting area that my stepson was comfortable with him. Not a bad wait, when he finally came back to the waiting area I was immediately impressed by Roberto's work! He did a very clean job (mind you, my stepson had a crazy looking bowl cut) and his fade looked great. My stepson really enjoyed Roberto, for sure know he will love to come back soon!

My request was very straightforward: have the grown-out sections re-highlighted and brighten the rest of my hair so that the overall color was even more blonde and brighter. Unfortunately, I left the salon with brown hair. It honestly looks like she just made it go back to my natural hair color. I have never, ever left a salon with my hair darker than when I walked in, especially when I specifically asked for my hair to be brighter and more blonde. It's really frustrating spending $300 and then getting the exact opposite of what I was asking for. Especially since I will now have to spend even more in the LA area where I live to fix it.
