Social Security takes a long time to get approved for, and my father was prepared for this. What he was not prepared for was the lawyer never contacting him, when he would call in for information, the person assigned to his case always was "out of the office" even if my dad immediately called back if he missed their call. Instead of them filing to pull his medical records, he was made to run around town collecting them. He updated them every single time he was hospitalized or had a procedure done, and one of the times he was turned down was because the lawyer did not provide documentation that my dad had given to them. He found out he was approved himself after calling the lawyer again and the person who answered the phone letting him know he was approved almost a month ago. He then found out the lawyer never gave social security his new address and so he would not have found out if he hadn't have called. Even now, he still has not heard from anyone in this office regarding his case. At no point has he even had the opportunity to speak with the lawyer, Eric Jones, about this either. Or any lawyer with the group, only paralegals and secretaries. I am extremely disappointed in this office for their mishandling of this case and their poor customer service skills. I understand that this market means that lawyers have a lot of cases, but if they cannot handle them, they shouldn't take them on. I wish my father was able to deduct the time and money and gas he wasted doing their jobs. He is struggling with heart issues and money issues, as you could imagine with someone filing for SSI benefits already, this just added unnecessary stress to his life. My father has a lot of friends that will be soon applying for social security and instead of gaining a customer that would provide recommendations, he will be telling people to look elsewhere for assistance, and you should too.

Just said they weren't going to pursue it. I replied to the email asking why and never heard back. I left a message with the secretary asking for the guy to call me back. Never received a call back. I called again and left a message on his office voicemail.. Never received a call back. If this is how I was treated, I wouldn't want them representing me at any time. Stay away. Look elsewhere.
