It's a great spot for relaxing with loved ones, and not too far from many other cool activities and offerings in the Presidio.

Half of the dog walkers are actually very respectful but there's a few like THIS LADY who brought her LARGE DOGS into the small dog area. Then had the nerve to call all the small dogs who were barking or defending themselves from five large dogs suddenly crowding around them "crazy" when she's the inconsiderate and crazy one. She should be BANNED. BEWARE OF THIS CRAZY LADY! One of her dogs also jumped over the gates and didn't care to look for it because she had seven other dogs she was with.

I've had the Salvadoran coffee pop up (can't remember the name) and what coffee Vietnamese iced coffee (yum!). Restrooms at the park are very clean, however my son has a sensitivity to noise so the bathrooms in the Sports Basement are where we go as they are quieter. Sports basement is a great place to checkout too. They have bikes you can rent for the family (the ones that ride like 6 people) and so on. Definitely check this place out when you're in the city!

With sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Ghirardelli Square, Aquatic Cove, etc, you can picnic here with your gourmet sandwiches from North Beach and dim sum from Chinatown. She was saying this area was a safer spot on town which my mom liked. It was very peaceful to sit by the water. One side is the Golden Gate Bridge and the other side is Alcatraz.
