While the design district (despite its…read morename) isn't really the best starting point for most home decorating journeys, I first found their website and I believe it was the closest place to Miami Beach with a decent selection of wallpaper books for review. First, let's just get this out the way: their website (as of late 2013) is awful. It's like the internet circa 1997. Bad. But their retail location is large, pretty, with parking at both sides of their building (it's on a corner). The interior cordons off the wallpaper book "library" to the back where staff help consult shoppers like me looking for inspiration. But each time I've been there, it usually takes *several* minutes for someone to help and the staff have been more helpful than not, however English language skills are a lacking for some staff. This was less an attitude problem than a language thing. Anyway, I'm giving this a three star rating which might seem harsh, but that's exactly what I think makes sense: One Of A Kind stocks lots of wallpaper and interior textiles, with books available for research and product available for order, but it's not above-and-beyond.

I tried to purchase a size able order of furniture on 7/26 and was notified two weeks after my…read morepurchase on 8/6 that my furniture would be on back order for weeks so I cancelled my order and was told I would get a refund. I emailed Kasa on 8/18 asking for status of the refund and on 8/19 I still did not have a refund posted so I called "customer service". I spoke to the rudest man I have ever talked to in my professional career. He told me that I was "severely mistaken" and that there was no charge on my credit card. I told him that there was clearly a charge on my credit card and that I needed it credited back. He told me to "call the bank" and that he "gets this call thousands of times". Hmm... If you get this call "thousands of times" doesn't that point to Kasa as having an issue? I immediately called the dispute service with my credit card and had a very nice and professional lady follow up with Kasa on the charge that was clearly charged to my credit card. The next day I received my credit from Kasa. Makes me wonder if they are trying to see if people will forget about the credit? I am posting this because no one in customer service should be that rude to a customer. Granted its a hard job but that's what you sign up for in that role. Normally I don't have time to type something like this up. This one just really irked me.

He finally responded that i had to zelle him $120 just to go out. I go ahead and send them. Then I get silence. I begin again calling and texting. Finally he responds and we schedule the assessment. He arrives almost an hour late and says the repairs will cost $380 minus the $120 i paid. Again he disappears. I have to call and call and text. Over a month later he schedules a repair date. The day they are supposed to arrive my father inlaw dies. And i need to leave immediately. Since we needed to leave the installation doesnt happen. Now we have to go back to chasing him down. Finally he remerges after days and days of calling and texting. He text me a bill adding a $65 fee for the cancelation of the last install. I call him and of course doesnt answer. Finally we speak and he states its because they use contractors and they charge him. Ir seemed sincere so i agree to pay it. Interestingly enough a van arrives that says ultimate windows and sure enough the installer confirms he is an employee and not a contractor. It was just another lie. Find another company its a constant lie and you will lose weeks of your time chasing them around after they deposit your check.

We did not see the mattress before it was delivered The delivery person told us it takes two hours to inflate fully. That mattress never inflated fully. It was like trying to sleep on a half-full air mattress. We have tried to contact the manager numerous times. We never got any response. Management don't about there customers.
