The greeters at the door are always kind and smiling welcoming you in no matter what you wear or what you look like. The church is kept clean and ac running plus if you forgot to get your coffee or smoothie or even a snack they have a shop inside to help get you fixed. There is childcare all free and a system with tags never had an issue with the childcare helpers there and for all ages too. They will text you if there is any issue with your child. The worship is always popping and full of good vibes some of us have our hands in the air others sway while others cry its ok its all welcomed. Here's the best part the message it hits the spot almost everytime I feel like you leave with that refreshed feeling that after a hot day in the sun you pop open that cool soda can feel but sometimes better. You can feel the love of God in the air and most importantly comfortable no matter what baggage you bring no one judges they just accept. I have been going here for several years and we love Judd and all the celebrity guests that come from time to time. Its helped us manuever through some of lifes hardships. Its worth trying out! It is a place where its ok to not be ok.

This one came up re intended again and again and it was absolutely fabulous! Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, Santa, the Grinch, Snow falling, a real camel, donkeys, sheep etc, acrobats, a band, beautiful singers, super cute kids, and a big friendly crown excited to celebrate the true reason for the season. The pastor was fantastic and fun to listen to, while referencing the bible, telling the real Christmas story etc 10/10 and absolutely recommend service to anyone!

The Yelp community has guided me so far for food, entertainment and services so why not spiritual guidance as well. Upon driving up they have parking lot assistance and guide new comers to reserved front row parking. Very friendly start to the service. On your way in you're greeted by many friendly faces and the positive energy is flowing. Greeted by the first timer ambassador we were given a short tour then escorted to reserve seating. As for the inside well designed, modern with great acoustics. The service was a lot of music and singing which I enjoyed. Everyone there was upbeat and full of joy. Now as this was the secondary campus by video screen we watched the service which was held at their main location in addition to a few members of the church speaking on stage. I loved the message and the vibe. Next time I'll attend the main location to see the pastors in person.

They put on such a beautiful Halloween event for the kids, and you could really tell how much effort went into making it fun and welcoming for everyone. Eveyone was so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better! I brought my son, and we both had a wonderful time enjoying the festivities. For starters, my son went to Sunday school and stated that he did not hear or learn anything because they have ALL kids in one class. From there, pastor Michael used our information that we put down for our son that the Sunday school needed to track us. Yes, TRACK US! He came to our home looking for us for... only God knows what. Our home is a place of safety we provide for our children, so to come home to a postcard on our front door from this church after attending for first time was nerve wrecking (mind you we live in a gated community, so pastor Michael had to wait for someone to open the gate for him just to come to our front door). After that incident, I IMMEDIATELY texted pastor Michael and asked him to remove all information that he had of our family because we no longer felt safe nor trusted this church. I informed him that we would not be returning because of his visit. Just now, he put my husband and I in a group chat pushing the services onto us again after I already asked politely once to be removed. This time I did not ask so politely :) For anyone looking into this church, please be aware of how pushy they may be. And for anyone new coming to God, please know that this is not the way he wants to build a relationship with you. God is patient, loving, and kind. He wants for us to come willingly and fully as ourselves, not because someone pushed us into it. "So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." II Corinthians 9:7 God bless you all and please protect your families. Just because it's a "church" or "pastor" does not mean it is always safe.

We were visiting Vegas for the weekend and decided to check out The Rock Christian Church on…read moreSunday, and I am SO glad we did. It's a smaller church, but there was so much heart in the service. The worship was probably my favorite part. Honestly, at times it felt like being at a worship concert, not because it was flashy or about putting on a show, but because they gave SO much time and space to simply worship the Lord. I think there were five or six songs throughout the service, several at the beginning, more toward the end, and even worship as we were leaving. It felt like there was room to just get undone with the Lord. Sometimes worship at church can feel like, "Okay, let's get everybody hyped up and awake!" This wasn't that. It felt more like, "Let's open our souls and worship our Creator." I really, really appreciated that. The message was also given by a female preacher, which was actually my first time hearing a woman preach a Sunday sermon. She was really good! I appreciated her wisdom and insight, and I thought the lesson itself was meaningful and well delivered. Something else that stood out to me was their heart for the community. They have a ministry where they welcome and feed people experiencing homelessness, and I believe they offer meals on Sundays and Wednesdays. I loved seeing that their ministry extends beyond the walls of the church. Overall, what earned five stars for me was their obvious heart for Jesus, discipleship, worship, and people. It may be a small church, but you can tell there is a lot of love there. If we're back in Vegas over a weekend, I would absolutely come worship here again. And if you're local or visiting and looking for a church to check out, I definitely recommend giving The Rock Christian Church a visit.

Every. Single. Year... I go back and forth about posting this. But I'm at a point in my life, where…read moreI'm choosing not to stay silent about what I've been through, regardless of whether a lot of time has passed. So here are just some of the instances that happened during my time at this church, as a young 20 yr old trying to find peace after some trauma. This all happened several years ago, but clearly is something that has weighed heavily on me since then, and was ultimately the demise of my attendance with the church. 1) I was told very private information about other members of the church by leaders... information that should've never been shared, and information I had no business knowing. "Don't tell anyone I told you this, but..." -the woman's pastor. What had she been telling others about me? 2) being told "your works do not define who you are" and then being told that I'm not doing enough to serve the church after bending my back over for them and the children's ministry. 3) This is while I was venting about an unrequited love... Women's pastor: "did you have any kind of intimacy with this guy?" Me: "yes" (In my head: we kissed and that's it) Women's pastor: "well, when I was your age, I was a whore too" (those were her actual words) 4) "you're too young to know what real hurt is." Told to me by a member after I told the women's group that my boyfriend died of cancer 5) women's pastor: "are you an alcoholic?" Me: "no. I grew up around alcoholics and no i am not an alcoholic" Women's pastor: "well, alcoholics usually say they aren't..." I told her she basically just called me an alcoholic and then she gaslighted me into believing that it was my own insecurities and pride that took it that way... looking back on it now, no one else would have taken what she said in a different way than I did. As you can see, my review is mostly about one person. My experience is complex, like many others. I was easily influenced during these years, as I was desperate for healing, which is why I think I stayed even after seeing the red flags. Most people that come to church, come with trauma. I understand the idea in which people think their own healing journeys are the "answer" to everyone else's... it's not. But that is how I was treated. I did have positive experiences here too. The actual sermons and worship are really great. The members are typically great. It's a beautifully diverse church and I really loved how there were many different people from many different backgrounds. I found this church out of desperation for healing. My relationship with God strengthened at the time, but the way the women's pastor treated me through the mentioned experiences above, was gross. What's worse is that the two other members I confided in about my experiences with the woman's pastor, was not surprised. I quit the church cold turkey after reflecting on a year of my experiences with her.
