This review is for the Christmas Eve Service only. Was visiting the area for Christmas and was looking for a Christmas Eve Service, as I typically do. This one came up re intended again and again and it was absolutely fabulous! Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, Santa, the Grinch, Snow falling, a real camel, donkeys, sheep etc, acrobats, a band, beautiful singers, super cute kids, and a big friendly crown excited to celebrate the true reason for the season. The pastor was fantastic and fun to listen to, while referencing the bible, telling the real Christmas story etc 10/10 and absolutely recommend service to anyone! read more

LOVE CENTRAL! Central is home away from home and even on the weekends when we can't make it in person Central has an online presence! Watching online has helped so much during times where health wasn't always best to be there in the building in person. Been apart of Central since 2001. Have raised my family in this church, grown and evolved in this church, served tirelessly in this church, but ultimately have felt the presence of Jesus encountered in and through out this church! From children's ministries, small groups, women's groups, celebrate recovery groups, grief groups, Ignite camps my kids grew up attending and raving about ---every kind of fellowship group... it's here at Central and not only that but also an opportunity to expand your faith and connect into a deeper calling with God. Such as through the Central College of Ministry offerings, ministry leadership or volunteer opportunities! I never thought I'd have an opportunity like this. As I've gotten older and started discovering my gifts I started..I look back reflecting and I'm so grateful I have been tapped into a church that has connected me to so much more than I ever imagined. Central has been family--in good times and bad times I have never lost my faith in this church or God. There are amazing people always here working hard; Food pantries, care teams, prayer warriors, incredible Central Live worship, state of the art production and programming, a safe space protected by our city's authorities and a strong staff that's been around for years! I agree with the review on Oct 12th posted. Central Church was promoting a book and the author discussed miracles that his book is about - no scripture. The discussion included struggles and hardship that people have had and there was no mention of scripture! I could write my own book and have had my own struggles and hardship and my faith is what has kept me going. I ended up leaving feeling disappointed because I did not want to hear about a book promotion. At least the praise worship was good! read more

My first time at Central Church's Food Pantry will be my last. I went to their food pantry today and waited for over an hour to get told by one of the staff members that my house-hold income is "too much" and "they can't help me, it's the rules". There is no mention of income requirements on their website or in person when you get there. It is misleading to advertise as a pantry that is for everybody and anybody who needs assistance. They will flat out deny you without knowing your full income circumstances. For example, me and my partner have been struggling to make ends meet on a monthly basis due to a recent tragedy that happened and now we have racked up medical bills and as a last resort, looked to Central Church for assistance. I showed up with only $10 to my name and in dire need of food to get through this week until my next paycheck. This church has all of the money and resources to give back to the community they claim to love. I have but one question for you Central, would Jesus Christ like for you to deny food services to hungry/struggling individuals in need?? read more

Your Aliante location does not have a yelp account. My kid went there for their youth program but was disappointed. The Aliante youth is very "cliquish." Not everyone is included in their events. There's definitely favoritism. Your kid can suggest something, the other kids tell your kid it's a great idea and do it amongst the same kids from the "clique." It's very mean girl/boy type of behavior. Definitely was not expecting this type of behavior from a church. Kid feels defeated and not wanting to be a part of it anymore but absolutely loves going to church. It's also not an isolated situation with just my child. read more

I am writing a 2nd review after attending Central for over a year. The church is Huge so it is hard to make friends. They don't have an Adult Singles Group. I believe some of their 'Leaders' need training on Leading especially when they have older Volunteers. While the church does help the community, it's hard to find help when you need something, specifically (except food). Twice, I asked for specific help (not money) and both times, I was pretty much blown off. read more

Two months ago, I shared my negative experience with this church on Yelp. I gave Central only two stars. Today, I am changing that to four stars, because, after some serious reflection, I realized my experience was probably a byproduct of this congregation being so large. What I think is great about this church is that they operate in grace and they work hard to bring people to a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. Their drive through food pantry is poorly thought out. When you're getting there early in the morning and it's still dark outside and the parking lot barely has any lighting how are you supposed to find the entrance to line up?? They have most of the entrances blocked off and no signs to direct you and no volunteer directing you where to go. You would think these people would have the common sense to put signs or have volunteers directing you where you. read more

I haven't gone to their church but I have contacted their prayer line and my experience with that has been rather mixed. When I first called them to pray for my relationship (with my darling), I talked to a nice lady by the name of "Michelle" and I came away from that call/text feeling pretty hopeful. However, when I texted again, I got someone with the name of "Janyth" who means well but is very pushy. See, my relationship with Christ is a very personal one and I texted again about my relationship with my darling. I came away from the text with Janyth feeling more dejected. first Central Church has been my home since being here in Vegas via Los Angeles and love the sermons from Pastor Jud and Nick, so I'd overall give a 5 star to Central itself. The one star is for the 24-hr. prayer/care line the people behind that phone let me down in my darkest hour I'm going through a really tough time in my life. After receiving some powerful prayers, they decided either block my number or simply ignore me being very hypocritical I needed help when feeling like I was being attacked by the devil. So, I had to rely on none other than the Father himself to give me the strength I needed to get through, and my wife helped with keeping me together. I trust in GODS plan for me through my tough time he's bigger than my fears and stronger than my obstacles I face I have to keep my faith. I hope all those who decided to ignore me or block my number don't never be in a dark time and need help one thing I know is GOD doesn't like ugly and being simply ignored hurt my feeling so the 24-hr prayer/care line really let me DOWN in a time of need by doing so I never imagined being let down by a prayer line especially from my Central family. Unfortunately this church really does have a problem with untrained service dogs. I used to come here regularly but have been barked and growled at because of my personal SD and it makes it an uncomfortable space.. I have made complaints I feel this church really needs to crack down on the dogs they let in. read more

I would love there if I could... Good is in this house! Pastor Jud message and Bible teaching always hits home and you leave feeling blessed and stronger in your faith. All the other pastors worship team, greeters all make you feel so welcome and loved. No judgment here afterall God knows us inside and out he doesn't care how we look on the outside and neither does anyone at Central. They just want to share God's word, praise and worship our Father in Heaven and our Lord and Savior. just show up I'm positive when you get there you won't leave. read more

Try to ask "Celebrity Pastor" Jud how much of the donations go to his family or the church.. go on ask him. I did. He skirts the question. I grew up in a small town and the congregation voted on the pastors family salary and it was common knowledge - I think they are shady with hiding all the mega church $$ they take in. Sure they help families and those in need but we as the membership should know is it 30% is it 10% what is the number!? Jud told me only founders that donate regularly know - hey I've been a generosity rockstar and all the other jingles - I've donated money for literally 8 years I deserve to know WHERE MY MONEY GOES!! Jud said they will protect the church and he put it in a way like asking for financial responsibility from your begged offering is somehow a bad thing.. it's not. Hiding secrets is. I am a very open hearted person and believe in Gods love to get us through. But I am so sad and disappointed. I hope this message reaches someone and it helps Make a difference. 500 people is too many for one night! I was On time We waited In line for 4 hours!!!! For three toys that are not even age appropriate clothes that don't fit! That are for 10 year olds! They gave us hotel toiletries in a bag. We were treated like cattle or homeless people. I am so disappointed in the way everyone was treated. Just because their serving with a deceivable Smile my 71/2 year old got a baby doll for a Three year old???? And my 17 year old got a sketch book???? And my 13 year old got a box of colored pencils???? I'm so Sorry to be complaining like this but I feel UTERLY BETRAYED BY CENTRAL CHURCH. All the asking of Sponsoring children through Hope is an absolute fraud and a scam I cannot believe that they made all of us people wait in a line like that to be served old expired hotel toiletries! I NEEDED HELP SO BADLY THIS YEAR! I spent money on driving all the way there and expected at least something for my kids to be happy about this year. My car over heated and we even got sick waiting that long! The kids needed to eat!. I have lost faith in my churches ability to actively help. I was in town for work and wanted to find a church to go to on Sunday. I found Central church....this place was amazing from the time I got onto the property. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The worship was awesome. I went on Mother's Day weekend. The lady that gave the sermon was on point and exciting. She is very good at speaking the truth of the Bible. I give this church 10 stars. I will be back next time I am in town. read more

I almost feel guilty doing this....but this is my honest opinion of this place... I have to knock it down a star because of a few things.. - It is just too much production and not enough focus on Christ and the scripture. Seriously. It's one thing to have the band rocking out, the rapper, the glow sticks, the dancers etc as an opening to everything...but this literally takes up HALF the service! I didn't come here for all this mess. I came here to Praise God and Jesus! - Still overboard with the pandering for donations. I always give every time I go...gladly. But I don't necessarily want my money going to glowsticks and other nonsense like that when it could go to better causes.. I have figured out that it is best for me to just miss the first half hour of the service and show up halfway through..because I do appreciate Pastor Judd. I just wish there was more focus on the scriptures...it almost comes across as an afterthought here at times.. All that said, people are so nice and friendly here...I almost feel like my search for a good church for me still rolls on.... It is still A-OK.. 3 stars. read more

A very huge asset for the community so if you are in need, good place to go. Great drug recovery groups and food bank. But their stance on the lgbtq and non support of gay marriage is a deal breaker for me. You will be welcomed and they will take your donation but they will not marry you and teach very clearly that they believe that marriage is only between a man and a woman. If you are ok with that, then you will like it. read more
