Pool at Mosaic

What a great experience, I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff is always smiling great attuided clean hotel clean resort I am so glad I booked my stay at this hotel I highly recommend staying here. The hotel offers cucumber/lemon water fruits and coffee by the front desk, the entire hotel inside and out is clean and designed very well our room was so beautiful I love the colors they used the room comes with balcony fireplace king bed very comfortable with the best beddings full bathroom suite full kitchen with a dishwasher and all the equipment you need, they also have a dining table 2 flat screen TVs and cleaning supplies and the room is very spacious worth every penny. They have a full equipped gym,sauna,3 large heated pools,3 hot tubs and the greatest thing about my stay is at night we had the entire hot tub and pool to ourselves it was the best experience. Btw our A/C wasnt working in the beinging the front desk got the maintenance man to come fix it, he even checked up for the second time to make sure it was still working and that we had no problems, thank you and enjoy your rock concert. Next time I am in Blue mountain I will diffently book my stay here. FYI FREE PARKING down the street.

An Interawest property, Mosaic is directly affiliated with Blue Mountain. You can get your lift tickets at reception and leave your skis for free at the front entrance where you can get them at the bottom of the hill the next day. The hot tub is more like a pool with many different alcoves and the pool has a separated lane for doing laps. The gym is decent and the property is convenient to both the village and skiing. The rooms themselves are modern and functional with a kitchen and dinning room that work well for sharing the space. We had a two bedroom with 6 people and it worked very well. It didn't feel cramped.

Amazing location! Ski in, ski out, right in the village and all the action. We had a loft suite…read moreroom and it was perfect for our family of four. Parking garage was great. Hot tub and other amenities were on point. Never waited longer than a minute for an elevator. Staff was attentive and while they were busy, they definitely all deserve five stars. We would definitely stay here again. With that said a few things of note: 1. We were never told about the ski lockers or provided our combo for the lock. Perhaps a newbie ski family mistake for not assuming, but also frustrating. 2. I had called about clearance height for vehicles as we wanted to use our Thule on our SUV. The front desk was not much help. Had we known there is a valet lot for vehicles with rooftop boxes, we would have done it for the nominal fee. As I am sure many parents can relate, driving in a snow storm when you can't see out the rear is not fun... roof box solves that. 3. The restaurant on site is lackluster. Service is on point; however, food is just alright and pricey, it is chaotic, and why in the heck only "reservations get window seats" is a policy is beyond any family we spoke to. All these awesome window tables looking at the village and lake that go empty because "walk ins" are subjected to interior seating despite all those tables being empty our entire dining session is beyond me. This isn't Manhattan. 4. The restaurant bar, given how nice the rest of of the hotel is, looked pretty sad. You could see all the shelf lighting was defunct, it looked tired and not well kept. As a business owner myself, and for how front and center the bar area is, my gosh keep it tidy, lit up, and gleaming with some pizzaz. Thankfully for those of us with older kids it is open until midnight, and once again the staff is Johnny on the spot, but geez it has seen better days. I realize it sounds silly, but this hotel is pretty awesome and with the large lobby the bar area should be the North Star, not something I look at and wonder "are they closed already?"

Initially booked a room with queen sized bed and sofa bed but it was sweet of them to upgrade us to a suite room. The room was so spacious, bed was so comfortable. Room service was amazing our room was kept clean, fully equipped kitchenette with pots and pans, plates, cutlery, coffee machine, tea, sugar. The washroom was fully equipped, clean, with all the toiletries and bath robes. Our suite included a balcony with a beautiful view. The breakfast we ordered for room service was delicious. The area is beautiful with a pond in front of it.

We stayed for one night at the Weider Lodge in the Blue Mountain village this past weekend and we…read morehad a pretty decent time overall. Granted it's hard to get a true sense of a hotel from just one night, we still felt pretty happy with our stay. We managed to get a deal on a 1 bedroom suite, which for 2 people is reasonably priced (slightly higher end) between $220-280 for the night. Our suite came with a separate bedroom (with King bed) and a pullout couch (double/Queen sized) which easily could have accommodated another couple. If you had 4 people in this room the price becomes even more reasonable AND there is more than enough space. I really like a few things about this location; 1) it's the accommodation in the village closest to the main chairlift, 2) Our suite overlooked the pool and hot tub areas to the interior of the lodge, and 3) we had a balcony suite which was nice for sitting outside. The room and building was very clean, everything was fully operational and it was quite (could also have been a factor of the time of year. A couple of things I found odd included; 1) There was a front desk in the lobby but at no time was there anyone managing said desk, you actually had to check-in for your stay at another hotel entirely and then make your way over, 2) Being closes to the hill means it is also furthese from the above ground parking and underground parking was apparently out of order or under construction, and 3) Our HVAC system was a bit on the fritz and the temperature regulation was way off (at one point the room topped out at 76F). Definitely a good stay, a comfortable bed and lots of space, I'd definitely request to stay here in the future.

Blue Mountain Village - Reminds me of a mishmash of Canada's Wonderland with no rollercoasters and a Swiss Village/uni campus.

First, this area is quite far about 2hrs from S Mississauga, so it's best to have some kinda plan as to other things to do in the area, e.g. Day-Pass, Scenic Caves, restaurants off-village, etc. Second, setting is gorgeous, but small. It reminded me of a more mature Canada's Wonderland where they have those fake Tudor facades with stores, paved with cobblestones but without rollercoasters or teens screaming at the top of the lungs in the background mixed with Swiss village with a bunch of chain restaurants. There are 3 main lots. Best to park in P3, the one that's just past the village area. It was beside the Blue Mountain Inn, but it's another free lot. Don't bother going in circles in P1/2 which are the closest to the entrance. It's free to walk around in the village, there are free performances in the main square on most weekends, but anything above and beyond you hafta pay for like restaurants, bars, gondola, tree top trekking, zip-lining, etc. My impression is that most of the restaurants are tourists traps since there's nothing else nearby. A pint at Northwinds, the local brew pub, during "Happy Hour" was $8.50! That ain't a deal. The Italian restaurant wasn't good. Facilities are lacking! 2-stalls, shared with Sunset Grill, for women isn't really sufficient for all the people who come through here. Otherwise, you'll hafta "go" in a restaurant. It's a decent day-trip for the family, but expect to pay...big time. Is it worth the drive up there just to have a look? Maybe for first-timers, otherwise, eat in the area as opposed to IN the Village!

The rooms were okay with an efficient stove, fridge (a built in fridge was broken so another fridge was placed in the room), there is a full range of cutlery plates and cups to use. In room coffee is YUCK. There was little cards just below the tv that indicated rates for turn down service. So Living Water Resort is a time share resort, where the rooms are owned by multiple stakeholders and rented out when not in use. The pricing per night were around the 200 range booked mid season with short notice. On arriving, you were welcomed with a fridge full of beer and free range eggs that were not bad priced-never tried it so check out if others used it. I also noticed a little mouse in the foyer and pointed to staff who proceeded to chase- the hotel has automatic door so it's very possible for rodents to enter. Parking is sufficient for the space. Within the resort there is a spa, I was not able to try it because there was a malfunction, we were not notified in advance and when we were offered rescheduling, it conflicted with out skiing schedule. Just a side note, if you book directly at blue mountain you can get a discount ski experience when combined with their room accommodations. The pool was okay but the slide was not opened during the winter- kind of cool it wraps outside then returns inside. When you sit in the hot tub inside, you can flick a switch in the wall. You will notice floating particles and hair in it. The pool has enough space and a splash pad. There is also an outside hot tub with a switch to the wall to get the water circulation on high, you will also notice floating particles in it. The access to the outside hot tub isn't anything luxurious with a yellow "wet floor" plastic sign blocking the door open. In the room, the bathroom needed a bit of refreshing, but the room is setup with hand soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The room has TERRIBLE SOUNDPROOFING because if you look at the map for the floor every room is a joining room. In a given night, I had to report a noise complaint 2-3 times as you can hear your neighbour laughing and drinking in the next room, that was connecting to their kitchen and living room. This happened for two nights and nothing really could be done except for reporting to the desk and having someone ruin someone's fun next door, I'm sure this notice issue would not be a problem if you were taking the room and adjoining room. Unlike Jonathan W.'S review on $11 breakfast continental, I did not see any signs on this at the front desk and only saw individual plate serve options in the elevator so I am doubtful this was the case 3 years later. Will likely not return- need my sleep not a frat night accommodation.
