The vet referred me to Angel's Paws. Everyone was extremely caring, they explained the process and, allowed me to schedule Dexter's appointment per my schedule. The technician who came to our house brought Dexter a cheeseburger. Welcomed Dexter's "sister-dog" Hanna to stay in the room so she could also say goodbye. They did not rush through the process at all and stepped away to give privacy for my family after Dexter crossed the rainbow bridge. I was also able to order customized urn for dexter, tattoo quality paw print and nose print . I will use this service again and would recommend Angel's Paws to anyone.

We called Angel's Paws at 9 AM and Dr. Kate Smith arrived by 3. By 3:15, Bo suffered no more. Words cannot express how grateful we are for this incredible service. Dr. Kate's calm compassion and meticulous care was exactly what my family needed during this very difficult time. We are so lucky to have Angels like Dr. Kate living among us.     Had to take my cat here last night. He'd had dental surgery a week ago and became very lethargic…read moreand close to unresponsive. Of course my regular vet was closed (love them as well) cuz it was 730 in the evening, and this is one of the emergency vet services their answering machine recommends. I called ahead and told them what was going on with George and they recommended I bring him in. When we got there, they took him back within a couple of minutes. About 20 mins later, they brought him back out and let me know his vitals were "nice and stable" and that I could monitor him overnight, then take him to his regular vet today. When I asked if I should check out, they informed me there would be no charge since all they had done was triage him and check vitals. Since I was already tallying up the hundreds of dollars that would be due between his emergency vet visit and his regular vet visit, you can imagine my incredible relief at that news. Thanks to them, I was reassured that George would make it through the night until I could get him to the vet today. Definitely a positive experience and if I ever need an emergency vet in the future, I will absolutely go back to MedVet.

    I am writing this review to warn other large-breed owners about severe communication breakdowns and…read moreinadequate post-operative care at MedVet Cincinnati. My 90-pound dog underwent major leg surgery here on June 23rd and unfortunately passed away while under their care on July 8th. The post-operative management from their Surgery department was unacceptable: Unresponsive Communication: Following surgery, I waited 24 to 48 hours for callbacks while my dog was immobile and in distress. Requests to speak directly with a surgical doctor were ignored, and communications were filtered through technicians who gave counterintuitive advice to decrease medication for an uncomfortable animal. Inadequate Pain Management: On June 27th, during a recheck, the decision was made to completely remove her Gabapentin without replacing it with an alternative pain management strategy, stripping away necessary relief for a large dog recovering from major bone/joint surgery. Lack of Ongoing Care: When my dog went into clear distress on July 6th, the only guidance provided over the phone was to give more medication to have her settle. Complete Lack of Follow-Up: It has now been two full days since she passed away under their direct care. Absolutely no one from the surgical team has reached out to discuss her case, follow up, or even offer basic condolences. A surgical discharge does not end a veterinary hospital's duty of care. The communication lag and pain protocols here require a formal administrative review. Especially at the cost of $6,000 of care.
