I brought Mr. Warren Glazer two sentimental blades that I had foolishly left in damp storage for far too long, one an old British Army Golok and the other a Gurkha Kukri. They had developed rust and were in far worse shape than I care to admit. I asked Warren if there was anything he could do, even partially, to remove the rust and restore a proper edge. He did a magnificent job. The care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were obvious the moment I saw the results. He brought them back to life far beyond what I expected, and the sharpening was excellent. What really impressed me, in addition to the quality, was the value. Despite the time involved, he only charged $32.00. Honest, skilled, and deeply professional. My coworkers and I decided to give this guy a shot as we were in the market for a new sharpener,…read moreall of the things given to him were still working, just due for a sharpening, with the exception of one pair of scissors had one nick in the blade. None of the items we got back were usable. Every single item will have to be fixed and the life span of each has been seriously knocked down, some of the items it was their first sharpening and now they may withstand ome, maybe two more. When I went to pay for my items he was still working on my coworkers (spent 6 hours on a two hour job after showing up 2 hours late) it was dark and he was not working with a light in his van, which did not seem to matter as some of the time while speaking to me he was not even looking at the blade being run across the grinder. As soon as I revieved my 4 items I inspected them and realized how badly they were messed up. Upon looking at my coworkers items at well we asked him to stop working on the blades he hadn't complete and to issue a refund for the items as we would have to pay even more to fix them. He refused and claimed they all came to go like that, which they didn't, some were brand new (but even if they had ..that would be why we were getting them serviced...so?) I dont know if he's just not trained, or just too tired of his job to do it well, but do not trust him to sharpen any of your tools
