I first contacted them in late July after her passing and followed their instructions to mail the required documents. Despite sending the packages to the address provided, I was later told nothing was received. Over the next month I emailed and called several times, but responses were slow, sometimes taking several days if at all, and the information provided was often incomplete. Each time I thought I was making progress, they would never respond to confirm it. After weeks of delays I decided to drive from Los Angeles to their Mission Valley location in San Diego to resolve the matter in person. When I arrived I was told I still needed additional documents. This was especially frustrating because I had emailed the day before to confirm everything was in order and was not informed of this. The only positive part of this experience was working with Tron at the Mission Valley branch. He went above and beyond, even staying after his shift ended to help me complete everything. He was empathetic, efficient, and made sure I left with the situation resolved.
