They truly went above and beyond by recording detailed video walkthroughs of homes and doing FaceTime sessions so we could feel confident about every property we considered. What really stood out was how much time they took to help us understand each neighborhood, including the pros and cons from their honest perspective. They always made us feel like a priority. Matt made the financial side of the process unbelievably easy and was extremely diligent throughout closing. He caught mistakes from the title company that we never would have noticed ourselves, and his attention made us feel much better. Even after closing, Matt and Lindsey continued helping us by connecting us with trustworthy contractors for work on our new home. That level of service and care is rare to find. We are so grateful for everything they did for our family and would absolutely recommend them to anyone buying a home, especially if you're relocating from out of state. When the time comes to sell our house, there's no question we'll be using Matt and Lindsey again!

I have been recommending Jason and his team since the first week after our first conversation…read more Jason virtually held my hand throughout the entire home-buying process (my first!), answered my questions patiently (there were many!), and TRULY made me FEEL what he repeated to me often over the course of our interactions many times... ("I'm Team Debbie")! He worked tirelessly, often in the office way after hours and responding to my late-night questions in real time (but don't YOU expect that - clearly, I'm special). ;) I'm in the midst of a Chapter 13, but Jason was able to lock me into a 2.75% loan rate, saved me thousands of dollars on my down payment, helped me get a dream house that was a "for sale by owner" (neither the seller nor I had an agent - egads!), sent me texts the morning of and after signing indicating how happy and excited he is for me (and he means it, folks!), and, most of all, he took time to sincerely reassure me and educate me throughout the entire process (made more tricky due to my chapter 13 and other you'd-have-to-know-my-life-to-understand type issues), meeting both my literal home-buying needs and my "felt" needs. He and Trevor were amazing to work with. Knowledgeable, patient, fun, funny, kind - just TRULY good people. I will never work with anyone else. Nor will anyone I know (cuz I've got that kinda sway) ;)

I can tell he's not only compassionate towards those without a clue but he's also very honest and forthcoming. 10/10 This is the mortgage company to go to with peace of mind!

We would like to thank Brad and everyone at Somerset Lending Corp so much for helping us obtain the…read moremortgage that allowed us to buy our last house. Although we've been impressed with Brad's work in the past, he really outdid himself that time. As he's done in the past with our loans and refinancings, Brad streamlined the loan process and paperwork. He gave us several options to meet our needs, and he worked to get us the most competitive rate. We really appreciated his extra efforts to keep our rate locked. And, the closing was painless. Working with Brad and everyone at Somerset Lending Corp, we quickly saw how knowledgeable they are. But, more importantly, they emphasize customer service and take extra measures to make the process as easy as possible. Brad is very honest and did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process. Brad was also flexible, available at all hours and responsive to our inquiries. Not only are we pleased with the end result of our financial transaction, but Brad also connected with us on a personal level and made us feel like your top priority. It was refreshing to work with someone who is so professional and is such a good person. We will highly recommend Brad, Kim, and everyone at Somerset Lending Corp to everyone we know. They made the whole buying and closing experience very easy.

Terrible service, poor response time, unprofessional behavior…read more I would not recommend this company for anyone. Needing to increase my FICO score by five points to be able to wrap in my HELOC proved fruitless and waste of time. James is one of their underwriters is very unhelpful very condescending very dismissive. James seems to have picked a fight with one of their lending agents by the name of Cindy over of all things politics which I give none cares about. I would not recommend this company for any reason and would tell you to go spend your time effort energy and money elsewhere for somebody who can actually assist in getting what you're after. I'll leave you with this my FICO score was a 695 my credit score was a 728 all I needed was to raise that up five points this would have been easily accomplished had anyone had common sense and understood that there was a reporting error as far as an account number on the part of the credit agency that they were utilizing. Common sense is something that has escaped these folks as well as customer service.
