This shop has excellent, high quality chocolates that are absolutely heavenly. We were just there, and I was only going to eat one of the 8 we purchased, plus a larger meringue-filled one, but ended up having three - SO smooth, and the flavors weren't too weak nor too strong. The white chocolate star anise and my two dark chocolate marzipan chocolates were divine. I've yet to have others. If you're a licorice fan, you'll fine a few chocolates you might enjoy.
I know how much work it is and how challenging it can be to get the chocolate just right- and this owner is an artist. I also was grateful for the owners help deciphering the Danish labels, but really, many words for the flavors are similar to English.
Two notes - if following GPS, you'll be put through a few pedestrian areas, one of which we didn't drive through (perhaps we could have), the other we did after watching others do it. It took us to a parking lot. From there, you walk to a side passageway and then find a pedestrian area where this shop is. Perhaps arriving on foot might be easier. Otherwise, you have to figure out the parking payment machine too. :-)
Also, these chocolate are not inexpensive, but they're certainly in line with the prices of other fine chocolates I've had in areas such as San Francisco where many similar quality chocolatiers can be found. read more
