Located along the main drag on Odensevej, you'd be hard pressed to drive between, say, Nyborg and Odense without going directly past it. Parking is along the back side of the building, in a small lot, but it's never been too crowded. Most of what we've gotten from here have been breads and rolls, typically fresh loaves of French bread and traditional Danish rolls (their spansk, for example, are excellent). We've sampled their pastries on occasion as well, but the primary draw has always been the bread products. For the unhealthy stuff, e.g. rum balls, tree stumps, pastries and such, we seem to gravitate to Stubs, which is further into town, but for most anything bread, this is still the go-to place, and you can't beat the convenient location. If you're passing through, I highly recommend you stop in and check them out.

On the weekend, they had baked goods for sale right out on the sidewalk in the main pedestrian area of Odense. They offered up free samples of their chocolate rye bread. When you walk inside, you get to see the bakers at work, rolling and kneading dough, and get wonderful wafts of the cinnamon and dough. You really cannot go wrong with anything they sell. Grab a coffee and sit and enjoy. They also sell a few sandwiches, but we never tried them.
