At first, a male staff member called me to ask if he could shuffle some dates around and promised to call me back. When I asked if this meant I was still being switched to a new doctor, her response was outrageous! She had the audacity to say they were trying to accommodate a cancer patient by taking my appointment but decided to keep me instead. Are you kidding me? Upon arrival, they check you in immediately and provide all the necessary paperwork that needs to be filled out. Wait time to see the doctor was average however the level of communication between the front office staff and the nurses could be a lot better. One did not know what the other was doing. Not to mention the one test that needed to be performed the tech went to lunch while were were there so we were presented with the option to wait the 30 minute for her to come back or come back another day? Wait, say what?? We are already here why would we leave and come back, plus if it was even a possibility that the times conflicted why not schedule the appointment to account for lunches, etc? I digress, even still after having the breathing tests done they sent her back to the waiting room to wait for the results. After sitting there for another 20 minutes and being asked if we needed anything else, then the tech explains that they would not have the results for 3 to 5 days. Wait, say what so we sat for a wasted 20 minutes when we could have left had that information been conveyed properly the first time around. I will leave the decision up to my daughter if she wants to continue coming here after her follow up visit for her results.

If you're looking for a doctor with basic human empathy, look elsewhere. He looked at me more as an inconvenience than someone who had a chronic pain issue. He rushed me through all of my appointments, cut me off when I tried to explain my health issue or had questions and ultimately, never helped me anyhow. I've never in my entire life talked to a Doctor (and I've seen plenty) who had such little time for his patients. He is the poster child for "bad doctors who get into the medical profession for the wrong reasons." I kept giving him a chance, hoping he would improve; he did not. I think it's important for teen patients to have some private time with their provider so they can ask questions and be honest, especially about topics like safety, mental health, and reproductive health. Big fail on the behalf of this provider, will stay at this practice but I will be switching doctors.
