Buyer beware - We hired Freeman Signs for multiple commercial sign installations. What followed was…read moreone of the most frustrating vendor experiences I've had in over 20 years in commercial real estate. The Install: The sign was installed across and outside of our property line - a basic error that a professional sign company, which conducted and charged us for a site inspection as part of the scope, should have caught and prevented. We only discovered this later through a survey. The Response: When we raised the issue, we were met with deflection and blame-shifting. Rather than acknowledging the error and presenting a clear corrective action plan, the company suggested we pursue an easement from our neighbor -- at our expense -- to cover their installation mistake, OR to pay them over $14,870.25 to move it! Communication: Despite multiple emails requesting a response and a corrective action plan, we received no reply. This forced us to escalate to legal remedies and document the matter with the City of Longmont. If you are a commercial property owner or business considering Freeman Signs, I would strongly encourage you to shop elsewhere. In our experience, accountability was absent when it mattered most. We had hoped to resolve this professionally. That opportunity was not taken, instead we were ghosted.
