Thank you Eyal and to the entire team for all of your hard work. We truly appreciate the effort that went into our renovation, and we're looking forward to making many memories in our new kitchen. We would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

He also came up with creative, cost-effective ideas that allowed me to create a beautiful space while staying within my budget! I got the opportunity to work with Kate Griffin on an organization job that I needed for my home. I…read morecontacted her one week & she scheduled our appt. for early the following week. Which was such a breath of fresh air in this very active real estate market. Being a Realtor. I know all companies that are associated with real estate are experiencing lots of volume so that was very quick considering the market. To be honest I was in such need of moving this project forward. What a wonderful blessing we got started right away! I had moved into a new home and with the exception of a desk/chair and a bed. I only brought items that fit in a box. Or went in the closet. I initially contacted Blythe so I can get a design to get some furniture etc. but I had boxes all around the parameter of my home and couldn't get to the design until we went through all the boxes and had everything organized and put away. Over the years we can accumulate so many items that are so precious. IE: just to name one category. I had been saving a variety of keep sake items from over the years that were also in cardboard boxes and felt stuck not knowing what to do with them. I didn't know where to start. When Kate arrived she rolled up her sleeves and got to work. We opened every box and went through absolutely everything. She made what looked so overwhelming a breeze. She was able to help me discern what to keep and what to purge. I had a hard time parting ways with items I hadn't used in I can't even remember the last time I had used them. I even had kept boxes from vacuums and other appliances that she kindly pointed out were taking up space that we could use to organize other items in. Apparently, I needed the permission to get rid of it. Which when I did get rid of them. It felt freeing! We sorted through all sorts of items. Anywhere, from a variety of keep sakes (my daughter trophy's, various photos, bday and holiday cards I had collected over the years), office supplies, to electronics (she helped me discern what to keep - and what to recycle - phew - so nice to know you can recycle electronics), kitchen cabinets, cleaning supplies, cleaning appliances in a closet, to paperwork that needed to be shredded and had piled up over time (which I got done), misc. bathroom items, linen closet to labeling. By the time we were done it was after 6pm and we had lot of empty cardboard boxes to recycle. Even though she had been here for 4 hours on a intense and detailed job.... with a mask on... On a hot day. She wanted to ensure she didn't leave any task for that day not completed. She offered to help me break down and take out every last box (I live on the 3rd floor) which we did. Then we scheduled an appt. for the next day so we could get some containers etc. to efficiently organize the items. Bye bye cardboard boxes. What started off as a 3 hour process. Ended up being a 9 hour job over a span of 3 days. I'm so grateful Kate was available 3 days in a row to keep the flow of the process going. I can go on and on. When you don't know where to start it's sure great to have someone who is a professional organizer help you. Kate is experienced, professional, amazing, friendly, funny, jovial and someone you will feel comfortable having in your home.

We were greeted by Michael Burlaza who offered us a warm smile and a cold bottle of water. We quickly realized Michael was the real deal...Knowledgable about the product, professional in his demeanor and honest if he couldn't answer a question on the spot (but would follow up later...). He gave us his card and we were on our way. Our search for upholstered pieces at other retail stores (and a few other RH galleries) led us right back to Michael. Even after relocating to the Central Coast, Michael was always available via email or phone to discuss our furniture needs. We ended up selecting a few more pieces at RH than anticipated, but the fabric selection, upholstery quality (the seaming was the best we have seen out there) and summer sale pricing proved too great of a force! We recently traveled back down to San Diego and spent a very detailed three hours with Michael to place our upholstery order (RH was also able to arrange a delivery date that works with our construction schedule). Heading back to Paso, we couldn't help but feel confident about our purchases and excited about seeing the finished pieces in our new home. If you are looking for the highest level of customer service, you can do no better than Michael Burlaza...He is simply the best!

Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.

Not only did we buy the house but made a good deal with Morgan and her crew to purchase some of the pieces they used to pump up the property. Unfortunately one of the pieces of the sectional failed and upon hearing of the issue Morgan got in touch with the wholesaler, arranged for us to pick out another sectional, had it delivered 50 miles away, took away the broken sectional and set up the new one. I had them stage a modern townhouse in Costa Mesa near the beach. Unfortunately, the staging style they chose did not match the aesthetic of the property at all. I am not a designer, so I typically trust their vision and let them take the lead. This time, I reached out to their team and simply asked if we could swap out a few items to make the space feel more modern or beachy. I was told I would need to pay a restocking fee. That response was frustrating. I had referred them many jobs and clients in the past, and while the fee itself was not a large amount, it felt unnecessary and left a bad impression. They did eventually waive the fee, which I appreciated, but the situation already felt mishandled. Fast forward a bit. The property did not sell, and I requested that it be de-staged. Their team came out a few days later and removed the furniture. A few months after that, they emailed both me and my client, who was the actual party to the staging contract, claiming there was a prorated balance due for a few extra days the furniture remained in the home. The amount was under $400. The contract was between my client and 1st Stage, not me, so I was confused as to why I was included. Shortly after, Mark Sutton emailed me directly asking if I could take care of the payment by the next day. I found that extremely unprofessional. Agents are the ones who bring them business, and asking me to personally pay an invoice that had nothing to do with me showed a real lack of business judgment. I expressed my disappointment with their customer service, and the only response I received was a payment link. If you are looking for a stager who truly feels like a partner and values long-term relationships, I would think twice before using this company. In my experience, once an issue arises, you are treated like just another number, and preserving relationships does not seem to be a priority.

It was really great to be able to see the design in CAD along the way, and Ella and Sheldon were very patient with showing us different options during our decision-making process. I loved that Nico was very trustworthy and I never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us, like some contractors will do. He was always very open and honest about the process. Of course, some things come up along the way with a project as big as ours (2-story addition plus renovating entire existing house), no matter how much planning goes in. But there were always conversations with Nico about everything and I always felt like we were treated fairly and with respect. After our project was complete, EN has always been very responsive, always coming to fix any issue. This has continued well after the project has ended. They truly stand by their work and I can't say enough good things about their team.
