I love this place! A couple years ago, they redid multiple sections of my vinyl seats which had cracked from 15 years of parking outside in the CA sun. They were able to beautifully match it to the other panels so it all looked uniform. The craftsmanship was wonderful - it looked brand new. Sadly that car had other issues and died. I hadn't had my new car (which was also a Mini Cooper convertible) 2 months before someone knifed the convertible top to try to steal stuff from my trunk...the day before I was supposed to leave the country for a big trip. I didn't discover the hole until 5pm, and I thought I was just going to have to leave my car parked on the street with this hole while I was gone, but thankfully I called Morro's. He said that he'd stay late if I could come right then, which I did. He immediately patched me up so that you can hardly see where the hole was at all, which totally saved my stressing during my travels. As much as the slasher made me question humanity, Morro's kindness, thoroughness, and care reinstilled it 100%. He also recommended a protector for my new convertible top (that I can get on Amazon) and taught me tips on how to care for it to make it look newer longer and stop sun damage. I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra first generation. The seats were absolutely falling apart. Originally installed with beautiful leather but the years of service she gave me were really starting to show. I threw a towel over the driver seat so you wouldn't see the foam coming out everywhere, got to the point I was becoming very embarrassed. The truck runs great but the interior looked crappy. So after getting a couple of estimates I was getting frustrated feeling I was being taken advantage of. A friend of mine introduced me to Morro and he's really quite a guy! I will say three things being a woman. He's honest, he tells you how it is and he's reliable. The price that he charged was more than fair and I can't tell you how happy I am with my new truck seats!! Before I found Morro, I brought my 2009 Mercedes to another upholstery shop that quoted me $3000 to replace two front seats. Morro and his team revived my 15 year old Corbin motorcycle seat (old seat, new bike) to my specifications in a timely manner and for the right price. The seat itself was actually in okay shape, but the foam had gotten a little firm and the material too slippery so I couldn't stay in one position while riding. When I showed up and asked for a good looking, all-weather material that would grip my booty, Morro found me a sample in his VERY extensive collection that was perfect within minutes! Then we discussed aesthetics. I wanted to keep the same paneling (two pieces instead of one solid piece) and add red stitching as a final touch (which they matched to the red on my bike perfectly). Morro presented a few more options for fun and we settled on the look you see pictured here. After I left, I decided to call and ask about adding a little foam to increase comfort. Again, he presented me with a couple options and we had our final game plan. The seat was done exactly when he said it would be for the exact price we discussed and my butt (and eyes) couldn't be happier. No more scooty booty! read more

Morro's Auto Interiors is the bomb! The shit! They're dope! Whatever cheesy ass, cliche catchphrases you can think up for somewhere awesome, and you can apply them to Morro's shop. I had leather captain's chair seats that I bought on Ebay for my 2014 F150, and needed an upholstery shop to actually swap the leather onto the current captain's chairs in my truck. I asked my regular mechanic who he uses for upholstery in his cars (he rebuilds classic cars & trucks from the 50's & 60's) and he recommended Morros' Said Morro handles the upholstery in all his cars. Morro's shop is hidden away in a little industrial park area on Haskell, but once you find it, head on in and ask for Morro. This guy is awesome! One of the friendliest people I've met in a long time, and you immediately feel comfortable with him working on your vehicles. The first time I went there was about 3 or 4 months ago to do the leather seat swap I mentioned earlier. Morro did some amazing work, and also took care of a large rip in the crew cab floor carpeting, and a small cut in the backseat leather. I was really impressed with the quality of his work, and best of all his prices are not ridiculous! He charges honest, fair pricing for all of his upholstery work, not ridiculously high prices like someone might expect for the quality of work he does. He also answered some questions I had about painting an interior piece of plastic myself, told me what kind of paint to buy and where, and ended up saving me about $110 by me doing the work myself! Funny that I finally got around to doing this review today, because my truck is currently at Morro's shop overnight tonight getting the headliner reupholstered. And then after I pick my truck up, I plan on taking my fiance's Mercedes C350 to him to have some repair work done on the driver's seat leather! I have a now 17 year old XTerra that I take great care of but the only thing making it look old was a headliner that was sagging all over, coming apart from the seams and showering little bits of foam and glue...eewww! I was referred to Morro by a trusted friend to replace the sagging inner headliner of my 2005 Lotus Elise hardtop. I took the hardtop to Morro, who was extremely friendly and very down-to-Earth who struck me as sincere and honest. I could tell he takes great pride in his work and values his customers. Morro walked me through the different headliner material options and provided his suggestions. Although he made recommendations, he never tried to upsell me on anything, which I appreciated. He let me know that I can choose from a wide range of materials, stitching, and anything I wanted to have a more customized look, etc., but the one he recommended was not any of those pricier options. After making my selection, I told him that I was not in any particular rush. He told me it would be done the next week. I called him the day before the date he promised just to make sure it would be ready and he assured me it would be ready for pickup by 1pm. That next day he messaged me at 12:45pm telling me my hardtop was ready for pickup. The headliner was impeccably done. It was even better than the factory headliner. Morro is a true craftsman and knows good work. He stands by his work and keeps his promises. Very unhappy with my experience. Quoted me one price then doubled it when I showed up to get my car. He made go buy the material myself as well. When I asked him how he got his labor price, he completely made up the numbers: "my guys worked on your car for four weeks at $75 an hour". When I told him that comes to $13,500, he didn't know what to say. Lied to me constantly and gave me poor quality work as well. Look at the zipper that was installed on each seat.
