There is a kiosk also where you can buy cigarettes and lotto from. It's not as busy as it used to be, and the prices are a bit expensive, I personally find that items are a little over priced, and i find it hard to find things that i am looking for. Its good for any daily essentials which are needed of for those individuals who do not want to walk as far as morrisons. Staff are friendly, although sometimes you will get the odd ignorant person who spoil it for the rest.

So we went to this branch to get some sandwiches, b'fast for the next day, wine and desserts. This one is one of the bigger branches. Got all we looked for and then some. Found some really good sandwiches - a bit more expensive - but worth it: It's from the Tesco finest - line. New York Deli Black Pepper Pastrami. Good stuff! Our choice of wine made us happy - as usual. For 7-10£ a bottle you really can get an enjoyable bottle.

There is also bays for you to do water and air. Unfortunately there is no car wash within this little petrol station. It is a 24 hour filling station, which is good for late night travellers. Inside there is everything for yoru car care needs, from oil and screenwash to air fresheners and wiper blades. They also have snacks and refreshments, drinks, crisps/sweeties, and newspapers/magazines. there is also essentials available like sausages and bacon, milk and bread, buscuits and suck like, as well as toiletries. The staff are really nice, polite, and if there is any problems they will help in any way possible. I used this petrol station for my lunch, basically because the main store itself is over run with school children and is already busy with customers so would take forever, and it was quicker to go here than to walk into town. They have filled sandwiches and pies, sausage rolls etc on offer. The only downside to the petrol station is its entrace, when it is busy it's very busy and sometimes the cars are queued up on the entrance to the main shop, which then frustrates shoppers as well as those wanting to buy petrol. Later, while on my ferry journey to Stornoway, I decided to look up the Tesco company and learned it was founded in 1919 and had operations outside of Scotland in a handful of countries including Hungary and Ireland. The inside of the store was straightforward to navigate and I got a few produce items, canned goods, and a small container of eggs. The prices were good and check out was simple with friendly workers. Products I bought were in good condition and served as snack and meal items both on the ferry ride to Stornoway and while in the Outer Isles until I replenished my supplies. Produce items and eggs were fresh and flavorful and the canned items and eggs easy to cook with.

It has a large electrical and clothing area, much larger than the other local Tesco, and tends to be able to stock lines that the smaller stores cannot. Saying that, the customer service lets the store down. Staff are always rushing, reluctant to take you to anything you ask for, and the queues at the checkouts are often horrendous - for that reason, I would suggest avoiding the store on a Saturday. Still, everything you need under one roof is something you cannot complain about.
