I had this company come out to look at my roof cause of a leak…read morein my chimneys because I had someone trying to do business with them ask me to give them a chance and see how it went. At first I was optimistic cause they responded very quick and said they would get someone out that evening to take a look. But then they came just to say because of the rain and darkness they couldn't get up there and look, which I understood for safety but didn't quite understand why they needed to come out and be at my house to just tell me normally they file a claim on insurance to get a whole new roof and then the chimneys get included and covered. But my roof is less than 7 years old and has no damage, so truly a waste of time the first time they came out. Then they sent someone out in the day the next day and took pictures and looked around and that was fine. They said I would have estimates on the following Monday and then they texted on that Monday asking if they could come back cause they needed more. I said okay, they messaged me a time 30 minutes before they wanted to be there and I said okay, then 10 minutes later they call and say nevermind they had enough. Tuesday they called to give me estimates and they quoted 7K to rebuild the whole chimney shafts, which I am sure is necessary but they didn't even bother to give me a list of options of temporary short term fixes to the best long term fix. Instead when I said I couldn't really afford that, they tried to push their financing and then were just condescending that a temporary fix doesn't make sense, blah blah. Which duh a permanent fix is best but if you can't afford it right now you just can't and should see maybe what can be done to fit the need. I asked for the written estimate to look over, they said they would send it right after the call and it has been radio silence since. I even texted the next day and said I never got it, no response. After 2 days I told them nevermind and I would look elsewhere. VERY VERY disappointing service, definitely felt they just wanted to pick the MOST expensive fix and not even try to accommodate for my budget and immediate concerns. Then when I didn't just agree and jump at their suggestion, they don't even bother to respond to me anymore. HUGE WASTE of time when I could have been trying someone else who doesn't just act like a shady salesman. :)
