Unlike most mechanics, doing business with Morris Mobile Tech was both easy and convenient. Larry was on time for the job. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. If your looking for someone you could trust, look no more. Call Larry and experience the difference. read more

I was really excited to get my car fixed. The response time was quick. But Larry does not know how to communicate well. I came all the way from up North and set a time with him so he can look at my car and he did not come and see my car until 2 hours after the time we had. He kept pushing my time back and putting other people before me after we set times to meet up and his excuse was "I didn't hear from you and can't wait for a response" after I replied after an hour. Not professional in my opinion. read more

Please read entire review for your own sake. By far the most dishonest mechanic I have ever encounter. I called him on 8/2/2017 Wednesday. He came later, than he said he would. He checked it within minutes he said he knew what it was. He told me he was going to order a fuel injector and that the part would cost $120 plus $80 dollars for labor. He said he needed the $80 before he left and the rest the next day. He said he will come back, at 6 the next day. Now its Thursday 8/3/2017 he arrived at 7pm. I had sent him a mesaage 2 minutes before that i wanted to see receipt for part. He came to door knocked, I asked him in person for receipt, he left to his car, took a while, so I went outside to his car and he became nervous and stammering when speaking saying he doesnt show receipts but he went ahead and handed to me. When I saw the receipt, he paid the same price, I had just researched that it was going for on internet. I asked him why he was charging me $120 for part. He stumbled and stuttered that it was because its his whole sale price. But I had just checked on line part was $33-$44. I told him Im a single mom and he was doing that to me when I been screwed before. His response was that he was a single father too and stuttered that he had to support his family. It seems he feels he needs to be dishonest in order to do so. I then asked him if he was going to charge me what the part was really. He stuttered that hell see and grabed his phone and said he was going to charge me extra 5 and change for taxes. Mind you taxes he did not pay for and that it was going to be $55 and change, plus the $80 I paid already. He looked very upset that he got caught that the part was not $120. I stayed with my car to watch since now he was obviously upset rushed to change the injector and didnt say a word. I give him that, he changed the fuel injector fast and was done within half hour since he arrived. I asked him for receipt again and very upset he handed it to me and said he will write me receipt. While he was writing receipt I asked him when the smoking would stop and if it was going to be something else he said it might be the catalic, but he doesnt fix that. While he was taking my cars info down, for receipt, I went inside to charge my phone. He knocked on door. He handed me receipt he wrote up and I handed him the rest for part. He now said $50. And change I gave him 51. Seems he likes to nickel and dime. My mom came to door and sweetly said, oh if you do a good job on hers, Ill let you look at mine and put the word out for your work. My mom at this point had no clue what had happened yet. He turned to me ignored her, and said your part has warranty, but im not giving you warranty for labor, and I dont care about you giving me business, I never want to do business with you again. I guess he was upset that he got caught being dishonest. I told him likewise. There you go a mechanic that doesn't guarantee nor give you warranty for labor if you catch him being dishonest. Now that I dealt with him, Im honestly wondering if the reviews left here are his friends and family. Never again, stay away theres plenty others who are honest and will even diagnose for free and have more than 140 five stars. I would of used them but they were not available till next week because how busy they are. This has taught me a lesson always research first and do not to believe all positive reviews they could be his friends and family. My car is still smoking, and he said it will still do so for a while. Its running normal so far, except that white smoke is still coming out of the back. I will see if it stops and how it runs today and update. Update car is pulling and jerking so ill need to someone to look at. read more

Morris' Mobile Techs - Receipt for part. - Auto Repair Near Me

I'm all about reviews. Giving 5 stars for now but I Don't know yet, car needs a new engine and is currently there at Larry's shop. Was referred here by a family member that had their Tahoes' engine swapped out. My car has been there for over a month already, engine delivered to him was apparently bad so now waiting on another engine. Will post an updated review when I get my car back. read more

Needed a clutch job done to my 95 Mustang, he arrived in a timely manner, replaced my entire clutch kit. Had it back on the road the same day. Inexpensive prices an really good service. Clutch kit feels fine, will definitely be calling Larry for any of my future mechanic needs. read more

First let me explain how impressed I was of Larry and his professionalism. I found him on Yelp and every review about him is true. I called him for a quote not knowing what was wrong with my car. He immediately told me without looking at it he couldn't give it a diagnose, but by what I told him it sounded like my car needed a new starter. He gave me a time to come to my house and diagnose my car. He was on time and texted me before he came to confirm my address. I was so amazed at how fast he purchased the part and installed it. His prices are far more reasonable than any other mechanic I've encountered in the past. A few days later my car had another issue far away from my home and Larry offered to come out and check the car out for me. I ended up having it towed to my home and Larry came and put in a new alternator at 9:30pm the same night it broke down. He got my car running again within 30 minutes. He even texted me the next day and asked how my car was running. I'am so appreciative of Larry and his work ethics. He is a genuine man with integrity. If you ever need a reliable, affordable and dependable mechanic that will come to you. Larry is the man to call! He truly cares, I'm so happy to finally have a mechanic I can trust and count on. read more

I have met other talented mechanics, but Larry is definitely at the top. He finds out issues no matter what and will keep persisting to get the car running right. What I love about Larry is he is a true honest person, and that also shows his knowledge about cars! He will not over-inflate labor prices unlike other mechanics. If the job will take 5 minutes, he will charge for that and no more. In the words of my father, "I think we just found a new family mechanic." Keep up the stupendous work Larry! Looking forward to more business in the future. read more

Wow! Where do I begin...? We live near Sacramento and needed a mobile mechanic to inspect a car we wanted to purchase. We saw his reviews and gave him a call. Larry answered the phone and rearranged his schedule to make the inspection work with our needs. He made me a priority due to the circumstances. He was thorough, responsive, professional, and trustworthy. He wrote up his inspection report so I could ask the dealership for the necessary repairs. He only charged $80. I offered to pay a tip and he refused. Wow! This review is my way of saying thank you to Larry. Everyone should make him their mechanic who need one in the area. read more

Will definitely be my first call for any auto issues going forward. Same day service. Quick diagnostic and such great service. Could fix my car but got me in touch with who can and what needed to be done. Wouldn't let me pay a penny and simply asked me to call again if I needed the help. Thank you so much Larry. read more

Ok...Larry just left my house after doing a front brake job and replacing outer tie rod. All I can say is he is very knowledgeable and a honest mechanic. There are not that many honest mechanics anymore. They are a dying breed. Larry, great job!! Also, I like sitting in my living room, waiting for my car to get fixed, instead of staring at the walls of some lobby at some over priced automotive repair shop. Thx again Larry read more

We are very pleased with Larry's work and professionalism that was provided. The business transactions were very easy. Even though I live in Bakersfield and the mustang is in Fontana, Larry was able to coordinate with my brother and got the job done. Very reasonable pricing. I would recommend his skills and services to everyone. read more

I now see why he has 5 stars, great prompt service, reasonable prices, will definitely be calling him for all my auto repair needs.

Updated 1/18/17. 1)Looked for a mobile mechanic to replace a broken piece inside my SUV after I couldn't figure out how to remove it. Found Larry with Morris Mobile Techs after a yelp search. Hired him for the job. Was professional & nice the entire interaction. Came out on the day he said he would. Called first to confirm. Replaced the part I needed. I would use again based on my experience. He had the best price compared to shops. 2) rehired Morris Mobile Techs again for a brake job. Again they were great! Great service and price. Very clean and professional. read more

I went to get an oil change at a local business in Fontana and was told that I needed a laundry list of things done in addition to the oil change and that my total was going to be almost $500. I decided to call around and see if I could find someone else and found Morris' Mobile Techs. I was able to make an appointment and was quoted a price that was extremely less that what I would have had to pay at the other place. Larry was professional and I can't say enough about his work ethic. It was very convenient as well for working people. He is my new mechanic and I will no longer take my car to anyone else. He is an extremely trustworthy businessman! read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY .. this place it's not close it's up and running let me tell you about my encounter. I read his reviews I only saw the one where he scammed some lady but gave him the benefit of the doubt so I called him up about a week ago ,he shows up and the first thing he ask it's for my email and full name I was at work so it seem strange I didn't sent it but he sent me another msg asking for it again ,then he calls me that he has found the problem which was a fuel pump and something with opening on my starter so he gave me a price and I was like ok let's do it was about 700 $ I'm like my brother it's there he can give u the money but he only wanted to charge for the his rate for coming down I think it was about 80 dollars I'm like no it's fine I'll pay you the whole thing he calls me they don't have the part so I called autozone down the st from my house and they have it ,I tell him and he's like I don't insured parts from autozone (what a joke) then he was like and I'm going to be out this weekend can't fix it. My cats dying ,my grandma is sick ,my wife's cheating, it's to hot.He had a problem( regarding fixing the car) I would give him a solution and he would look for more excuses anyway . I'm like dude do you want to work or not u don't seem very motivated sooo excuse after excuse I gently told him to get his shit and get the fuck out of my house of course he didn't get a damn dollar from me he comes over with no intentions to fix anything but to charge a rate. And plz feel free to adress me like you did with the other reviews I'll set u straight read more

Larry was reliable, honest & so fair! After using him I won't be using anyone else! Highly recommended! Please read this entire review... it's long, but insane! I contacted Larry last week in desperation. I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The air conditioning would only work if I was moving fast enough and the car would overheat if I was stuck in traffic or just idling (like in a drive thru). AAA had free safety inspections in March, so I took advantage and brought my car into an approved mechanic. He was only to inspect safety aspects (brakes, seatbelts, etc), so I was not able to get an electrical eval. He did say that my fans were not kicking on, causing these problems. Day 2 of the heatwave, I had enough. I took my car to Pepboys in Redlands. They informed me the fan for my radiator was shot and I needed to replace it. Since the part had to be ordered, I picked up my car that same day. I decided to look up the part number to double check that fan was the correct one for my vehicle. I came across an alarming surprise... on pepboys website the fan was $115. The recommendation showed the price of the part was $230 (this is for the part only, labor and warranty were listed separate, a $500 total). Also, the $45 eval fee would NOT be applied to the work. When I called to ask why the huge discrepancy, they could not give me an answer. That's when I sent an SOS message to just about everyone I knew. I spoke with Larry that night. Frustrated. In tears. I told him everything.... he said he could come to my home the next morning. I asked if I should order the part since I found it for $95 online. He said he wanted to eval first. He showed up, and within 15 mins, he knocked on the door again, informing us that the car is fixed!Turns out the fan was UNPLUGGED!!!!! The fan was NOT faulty at all! I appreciate Larry's honesty so much! He could have made a couple hundred dollars off me, but chose the high road. I have promoted him all over work (I work at Loma Linda Hospital). I just hope karma will come and take care of him. He felt so bad for how I've been treated, he didn't charge me a cent. I am beyond thankful and now have a trusted mechanic. Thank you thank you thank you Larry!!!! read more

Larry is the guy to go too! My driver side wheel came off after an unfortunate accident, I went to 5 different people for opinions and advice and was a disappointment every time ! Guessing maybe because me being female would be easy to be persuaded into paying for an outrageous cost. I kept looking until I found Larry! He Came to my home and took a look, he knew right away everything I needed. Came Down to needing atleast 10 different parts at an affordable price ! He went straight to it. Larry fixed my car in just a day. My car runs like nothing ever happened to it at the same time he even took a look at my husbands car and fixed his problem as well! He's great! He was reasonable with the the cost of parts and labor. He will be the person I go to from now on Thank you Larry for your hard work! If I could give more stars I would . I'm very content and have recommended his services to family friends. read more
