Poole Huffman LLC accepted a **$20,000 retainer** to take over full representation of my active…read morecivil case, only to deliver zero work product, completely unprepared attorneys, and shockingly hostile customer service. The firm explicitly admitted that they do not perform a full analysis of the facts during intake; instead, they take your money based on a superficial "gut check". The attorney assigned to my case, Amy Weber, failed to read any of the publicly available filings on my already active case before our initial call. She then wasted my time giving an allegedly "frank" viability assessment" based on a factually incorrect reading of Georgia statute. To make matters worse, immediately after taking the case and giving this "frank assessment," she went on an extended vacation without even checking the docket for deadlines. When I requested a call with partner Jon David Huffman to get the case back on track, he admitted he had only looked at my file for "about ten minutes" right before speaking. Despite boasting that he is one of the top defamation lawyers in the state, he too stated a factually incorrect legal pronouncement then walked it back saying he was "not certain" and then openly refused to commit to actually handling my matter, stating it was "not necessarily [his] role". When confronted with the fact that no substantive work had been performed by any competent attorney and that I wanted a refund of the unearned retainer, Mr. Huffman blamed my correct legal understanding on "AI" and ultimately resorted to personal insults, sarcastically snapping to a PAYING CLIENT, "You're a genius, you know everything, why'd you even hire a lawyer then?" To date, I still have not been refunded my twenty thousand dollars, and the only thing I got in return for twenty thousand dollars was a false statement of law by my assigned attorney and an exceedingly unprofessional and unprovoked demeaning insult to my intelligence from the managing partner, who by his own admission was "not certain" about the foundational legal question of my active civil case that the firm was contractually obligated to provide full representation for. Instead of providing legal representation or a full refund, the firm created a new cause for initiating yet another legal proceeding I now have to pursue concurrently and still without any representation. This experience has really been disheartening and extremely hurtful. When you have already been defamed and financially damaged by one party, the last thing you need is to be demeaned and further financially deprived by the very people you entrusted and who promised to help you remedy the original injustice. I am truly shocked by the treatment and "service" that twenty thousand dollars affords a client at Poole Huffman.

The Camp Creek office had three women assisting Realtors with closings. Sherynda, the attorney, is AMAZING -- professional, kind, and truly a pleasure to work with. Monica is also AMAZING -- welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with Victori, one of the closers, was very disappointing. She was rude, spoke extremely fast when asked questions, and seemed irritated by having to assist, even with simple things like walking to the printer. What bothered me most was that she spoke unprofessionally and negatively about another agent with her door open, including saying the agent's name -- while that agent was still in the waiting area. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially in a setting where closings are already stressful. I really like this location overall, but that experience threw me off. I wouldn't recommend this office to new agents or anyone who may have to work with Victori. Making clients or agents feel uncomfortable during a closing is not okay.

We went to close on a deal and their clients told us 1 1/2 - 2 hrs before closing that the money they were providing for our purchase/ rehab deal is to be reimbursed after we spend our own money. We had asked multiple times about when , how much, and how fast we can get the money for the rehab and everytime they said we can get it fast and as much as you want from it but never once did anybody say you have to spend your money first then we reimburse you until right before closing. We lost $7,500 of our deposit because their attorney Carlton said we signed the contract. When asked about the definition of funding and reimbursing being 2 totally different meanings he agreed but still believes his clients are entitled to my deposit money even though they lied to me from the beginning. Their clients (Easy Street Capital and New Western Reality) sold this deal to us under the false presumption that they would be funding our rehab not reimbursing our money that we spend. If we would have closed on that deal their clients would have put us in a financial bind that we did not need and would not be ready for, just because they couldn't be honest from the get go. Even on the contract the money for the purchase and rehab is stated as funding. But for some reason on the rehab part I have to spend my money first, makes absolutely no sense. I am still having a hard time understanding how they can think that contract would be valid and legal since their client was lying/ decieving from the beginning. These are shady attorneys with shady clients that are more concerned about putting money in their pockets than having any decent morals. I would ask for another attorney to be involved if you see these peoples names come up with anything you are dealing with, or even double check their client of theirs you're dealing with because you might be getting shafted.
