I needed to get some headlights and I needed some error codes read on my car so that I could identify why my check engine light was on. The salesman who was going to help me made sure to continually identify that he hadn't forgotten about me as he worked through the queue of people who needed help and arrived before me. They were doing a lot of battery installs and code reads that day. It was nice to know that I wasn't getting overlooked. For reference, all Auto Zone stores will check error codes for free and print out a report of the codes. They also loan tools if you need something to fix an issue right in the parking lot or to install a funky item. The tool rental has helped me out a few times. On this particular visit, the error codes my car reported were pretty broad and signaled four or five different potential problems that would all require very different solutions. The salesman me gave me a few tips to figure out the root cause of the check engine light and told me which items would be cheaper to fix first if my diagnosis didn't return anything useful. That was very useful--he didn't have to do that and it saved me a lot of time searching the web for help. Overall, I'm a fan of this particular store. I would go again if I'm in the area and need car parts and such.

I wanted a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback Sport Touring model in Boost Blue color with BLACK leather interior. I requested to be communicated with ONLY by email and NOT phone. All of the other dealers began hassling me almost daily by phone and didn't seem interested in finding me the specific trim and color combination. They only were concerned with selling what was currently on their lot. Ganley Honda North Olmsted was the ONLY one that followed my request and communicated via email. I NEVER was hassled by phone, text, or voicemail. They even said there would not be a problem finding the exact spec car I wanted, since they did not have one available. Salesman Emmanuel (Manny) Verdino scheduled a test drive for 2/25/26 in a similar trim level Civic. Once I decided it was the car for me, I put down a $500 deposit to start the dealer locate process. Manny kept email contact throughout the entire process. Since that exact spec Civic is not widely available, most Ohio dealers were not willing to do a dealer trade for such a high demand car. After a thorough search, they were finally able to locate one in Lockport NY (225 miles away!!) a few days later. The car arrived at Ganley on 3/4/26 and I was scheduled to sign and drive for my car on 3/6/26. Manny even willingly came in on his scheduled day off to have me sign the paperwork. That was a huge convenience for me. The sign & drive process went off without a hitch. There was absolutely NO high pressure upsells and the price details I was quoted on 2/25/26 was honored with absolutely no changes. Matt Maier in the finance department made the overall process even easier. He also secured me a lower APR with Honda Financial and a massive discount on the extended warranty. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Ganley Honda of North Olmsted, and specifically Manny Verdino, for all of your Honda needs.

The rude sales manager then said he could only knock off a few hundred dollars from the $10k inflated price. Really? A few hundred dollars? Nonetheless it is 14 years old car and Prius' are notorious for elaborate dash light displays, especially jarring is what I came to know as the red triangle of death, seriously called this once by a Brooklyn mechanic. My kid went to Zeppetella's within an hours notice of calling the shop, Tony ran a diagnostic, fixed what needed adjusting, and then actually walked my son through a few of the fixes he could do by himself. Having a dicey past with mechanics, mostly due my ignorance and lack of time to research in an emergency, I am so grateful that there are righteous mechanics and shops around that are experts at what they do, honest about the diagnosis, and willing to show an interested kid some tips on how to fix their own car.
