The gentleman that helped me this first time was brilliant and, although I know they're on commission, I felt that he really did get me the best deal. As I don't use many minutes per month, I was over the moon not to be pressured into getting a completely unsuitable package, so many thanks to that salesperson. The second experience, this Christmas, was diabolical. I went in to buy a Pay as You Go phone for my nephew and was jumped on almost immediately by a most annoying salesman. I indicated that I was just looking, but he continued to loiter behind me. Without asking, he returned after a few moments to attempt to persuade me to look at contract phones. I explained that I was after PAYG and he looked at me like something he had trodden in and sloped off. Needless to say, I did not purchase from this outlet but went instead to Asda! Unfortunately, they lost my business and I would be wary of visiting again after this experience.

It has good value landline and broadband as well, which called Talktalk. The good thing about its mobile division is I don't have to pay the call cost if I want to ring their customer services as long as I ring them through my mobile. They have good network branch as well. The problem with its mobile division is its redemption procedure to claim chequeback. It has to be claimed manually (I have to remember to send my bill statement to redemption department by post) and it takes couple weeks at least for the cheque to arrive.

This is called a Samsung Experience store, due to the amount of different Samsung products they have on offer, through some sort of chair to TV's and smart phones and their flagship Samsung Galaxy phones. I really liked this store, having very little interaction with Samsung products in the past and the whole concept of this store is excellent and quite rare to find in other Samsung stores, who based on past experience often have much poorer and smaller stores, as is the case in my hometown of Manchester. Despite being a huge Apple fan, I did like the new S8+ model, and liked how they made the demo model easier to see the key features such as a rather innovative and niche iris scanner. The staff around the store, of course, seemed friendly, and of course, the overall vibe was good, they also seemed to be a satisfactory yet not excellent selection of accessories, however the accessories selection as a whole, didn't compare to the selection, choice and quantity which one would find in an Apple Store. For the Samsung brand, this store is impressive, but overall it is just a very good store, and despite some flaws such as the overall building not standing out in terms of being modern, like most of the tech here, and other factors, perhaps a slight lack of information on some factors and not a range of accessories of which I'd call fantastic, I feel this store isn't perfect yet still has done enough to earn a four-star rating.

I called in here early in the morning, an hour before my Genius appointment and was greeted by a rather friendly Apple Store employee, he told me that I was unlikely to be seen earlier even though it was 9:30am on a Saturday morning with few people in sight, but he went on to tell me my problem could be fixed without an appointment. After showing him my receipt, my apple charging cable was replaced quite quickly and I was in and out of the store, having replaced my faulty product and got an email confirmation within 5 minutes which I was rather pleased with. The Apple store is a decent size, around the same size as the nearby Metrocentre branch, it of course was a typical Apple store in terms of decor, showcasing most of Apple's flagship products including the Apple Mac and Iphone 7. Overall, the service from this branch was very good and quick, I even began chatting to my advisor about Hilton hotels, in which I was staying at and even he was visiting the same evening, due to what has been discussed I feel this branch deserves a four star rating. Something to look at for the future would perhaps be to increase the availability of appointments at peak times and invest in more of a system if you are to visit the Genius Bar, and maybe increase the size of the store, albeit without risking the service.

What's the point of displaying the same information that's printed next to the iPhone, on an iPad?! Why not just give me the iPad instead? I mean electrical and product wastage much?! Or why not give the money that could be made from the iPads to me instead? This store is always cluttered with tweens whining at their daddies for the latest release which is kind of annoying....but at least when you hide further in the store (full of the unwanted desktops and older models-poor things!), you can find much of the gear you may need to accompany your newest addition to the family. I would recommend looking online for cases etc... as you can get a better range at a more reasonable price. I used to like the minimalist style to the store but now it seems, the stores are big and air-y for no reason as it is jam packed with all these swooning apple-eaters (you heard it here first) drooling over the latest releases. I'm not hating on the company, I like their products (I would really love a MacBook HINT HINT) but I think it is a little excessive. Also, what is up with the weird sculpture displays? Lastly, is it just me or are the geniuses really putting the term to shame? I mean, several years ago, they were moderately tech savvy nerdy folk who could actually answer your tech Q's and provide insightful A's. Nowadays, the staff are failed model-like sales folk who could not tell you what iOS meant. They only really want to help those who are throwing their cash at them and won't even bother trying to appeal to new audiences. I guess when your products are this fashionable, staff members do not need to be trained to talk about their other products as people who are going to buy, will buy the latest most popular one regardless of any useful information....

Upon delivery the staff's invoice showed a different product which was replaced by another. When we tried to complain they said their invoice was wrongly worded and we had signed a contract to recieve the product we had received. They were rather blunt and forthright on the telephone. Once they have your money, it seems, they are no longer interested in customer care. Huge store but go elsewhere for honest staff.
