I did not order any flowers to decorate the church or the reception. I was extremely disappointed!!! The bouquets were VERY small and some of the flowers had not even bloomed yet. My bride's bouquet had a ribbon wrapping that broke before the ceremony after I started holding it for pre-wedding pictures. I had to quickly wrap it and hold it tightly for the flowers to hold. I had asked for a full round bouquet of roses and calla-lillies. Instead my bouquet looked like I was literally holding some long-stem roses as the stems seemed as though they weren't even trimmed. Not to mention the fact that there were less than a dozen roses in the bouquet and it looked like it would be the size of a small bridesmaid bouquet. The bride's bouquet was $100, pretty crazy considering I could have picked up a dozen roses at the local grocery store for $15. The bridesmaid bouquets ($50/each) looked like they should have been for a flowergirl they were so small. The groomsmens' boutineers were calla lillies and seemed to be all different sizes. I loved almost every part of my wedding day, but if I could go back and change one thing, I would hire a different florist.

I came in here, found a few florists within a few miles radius of her home and landed with Village Flowers. Not gonna lie, the fact they have a shop dog sucked me in. Who doesn't love a dog that does flower arrangements? I had read the reviews here which were limited but went out on Google as well. I ordered a deluxe version of a beautiful pink/white arrangement same day and within just a couple of hours they had delivered a GORGEOUS arrangement of FRESH flowers. I had no idea what I was missing all these years! The decor is absolutely beautiful; the flowers are fragrant, expertly crafted and always fresh. My favorite part about the experience, though, had to be the Polish pottery displayed all about the room. The owner shared the fascinating history about how these beautiful pieces are made. I won't tell you myself, but I highly recommend you ask next time you stop in. I mentioned that it was my birthday while I was buying one of the mugs (pictured below), and the owner quickly began picking out complimentary flowers for me and my grandmother!
