Tammy was a pleasure to work with, and really made our vision come to life on our wedding day. She has a lot of expertise, but also made a point to hear what we wanted on the big day. Not being a flower expert or having strong opinions on them, Tammy took my ideas and refined them with our colors and venue and sent images of similar bouquets she had done in the past to get my thoughts. She was very responsive and completed deliveries at our venue on time day of. One thing to keep in mind is on the day of the wedding, you really are not supervising the centerpieces etc arriving, which I only saw at the reception. I had extremely high expectations - I annoyed her with tons of pictures of my ideal bouquet arrangements in jewel tones - purples (eggplant) & greens (emerald). She did NOT disappoint. Tammy arranged the most beautiful, Pinterest-worthy bridal bouquet. I was knocked out by how gorgeous it was and how perfect the shades were. All of the boutonnieres were perfect. She design a gorgeous flower crown for my 2-year-old niece. And she provided an arbor, draped in white fabric, with the most perfect bouquets on either side. It was --- just lovely. All of it. Good Earth Flowers was recommended to me by a good friend. Upon contacting her she was able to quickly come up with an idea for my bouquet, boutonnieres, and corsages! I sent her a photo of the shoes I would be wearing for a color reference and she was spot on. I own a wedding venue in Culpeper and Tammy at Good Earth is our go-to place both to recommend and to get our own arrangements from. To reference another review I'm not sure that any florist is a cheap option - but I also think that's a good thing. Been a florist is akin to been a artist working in paint it takes talent, vision and time. Tammy has all three things, and I think is great value for money. She is always sweet to work with, delivers on time, and wants to work with you. Some vendors don't seem like they want your business, but Tammy makes everyone feel valued. read more

I would not recommend hiring Tammy of Good Earth Floral Design. The experience was heart breaking, unprofessional, and they were unapologetic at not delivering what was promised for our wedding day. Our wedding flowers were supposed to be delivered at 8:30 in the morning. We had ordered 25 table arrangements, a ceremony arbor, a flower crown, 9 bridal/maids bouquets and 10 boutonnieres. Tammy called and asked if we were okay with changing the delivery time to 1:00. This was fine, as our ceremony was not supposed to start until 5. However, the flowers did not not actually arrive until 4:50, when guests were already gathered and waiting for us to begin the ceremony. When the floral company did finally arrive, we were missing our ceremony arbor and the flower crown, and the table arrangements did not have any water in them. The communication from Tammy and her team throughout the day was disorganized, rude, unclear, and dishonest. It was clear that they were not able to fulfill our order on the day of and did not want to be truthful about the situation. Due to their lateness and carelessness, I was unable to procure a single picture of the table and floral arrangements set up, since guests were already in the reception area. It was very clear early in the day that the weather was not going to cooperate, but to blame the weather for EIGHT HOURS of tardiness and unprofessionalism is simply inexcusable. After the event, we had to call the owner, Tammy, many times before we were able to speak with her. She refunded us only 50% of the entire order (without refunding completely what was NEVER delivered) and would not provide us an invoice of what the flowers cost as we had requested only paying for materials, since labor and delivery were a fiasco and it was clear they did not have the inventory we had paid in advance for. I sincerely wish that no bride ever has to deal with this situation ever again. Please use caution when booking Tammy and Good Earth Flowers. read more
