Steve convinced me that he could provide real flowers for my wedding at a reasonable price. And he knocked it out of the park!! I sent him several images of interest from Pinterest, and he sent me a proposal outlining exactly what flowers would be used for each piece. I was still very concerned about the arch display and whether it would look too small (because of the great price) or how it would come out and it was beautiful and full of flowers!! My bridal bouquet was stunning and received so many compliments, and the bridesmaids bouquets were similarly beautiful!! I even sent off many of the flowers for preservation, I loved them so much! It's a small florist shop with friendly staff who greeted us and offered assistance with pre-made floral items in a small cooler to the right of the shop and a ton of gifts and knick-knacks inside. It has much more in the way of gift items than expected and a very large selection of skincare items from local Virginia Aromatics which are made in Orange. There was bug spray, lotion, soap, scrub, bath salts, chapstick, etc. All smelled wonderful. A cute shop with some nice items and the soaps are soft and luxurious.

My husband ordered a flower arrangement online that looked like our wedding flowers for our big anniversary (10 years together). A florist called to let him know that they did not have some of the exact flowers shown in the bouquet that he ordered. When he called them back after work the florist told him they would still give us a similar arrangement that would look nice. The flowers that were delivered to us were not similar whatsoever, missing white and lavender flowers, as well as eucalyptus and seeded eucalyptus. I can't attach a photo, but they were pink, orange, and bright purple. Instead of being told that our order wasn't possible, we were told that they already "made something nice" for us. My husband said that was okay as long as the bouquet would look similar to the one online. When the bouquet arrived, we truly thought the wrong one was delivered to our home. We called to sort out the issue and were told that we did receive the right bouquet, that this was similar to what we ordered, but actually more expensive. We asked to return the flowers for a refund since the flowers we received were nothing like what was wanted. I mean, when you spend $100 on flowers/delivery, you want to be happy with them! We don't spend that kind of money on flowers for something I don't like! Greg, the Culpeper manager, was extremely rude. He refused to give us a refund, insisted it was our fault, told me that I "should be grateful to get a more expensive arrangement", and finally agreed to give a refund for the incorrect bouquet, but said "you will be flagged to never buy from our stores again" and that I will have a "1 star rating in the national flower system, being marked as someone who will complain" so it will be difficult for me to order from other stores. I am baffled. Myself and my family have bought from the Elkton store for years, dating back to when they first opened. WOW! That's all I can say. On a positive note, the Elkton manager was understanding, apologetic, and in agreeable with my frustrations, for which I am thankful. She thanked us for complaining so that the wrongs could be made right and gave us a discount card for future orders. After being yelled over on the phone and my wonderful day dampened, at least I got my money back from the Culpeper store. Word to the wise, DO NOT order online and/or from the Culpeper location (online orders go to Culpeper). We have ordered via phone/in person from Elkton many times, including for our anniversary every year, without these issues.

I had no idea what I was missing all these years! The decor is absolutely beautiful; the flowers are fragrant, expertly crafted and always fresh. My favorite part about the experience, though, had to be the Polish pottery displayed all about the room. The owner shared the fascinating history about how these beautiful pieces are made. I won't tell you myself, but I highly recommend you ask next time you stop in. I mentioned that it was my birthday while I was buying one of the mugs (pictured below), and the owner quickly began picking out complimentary flowers for me and my grandmother! I am definitely making this my go-to flower shop anytime I come back to Warrenton, and will never buy flowers from a grocery store again! Support local businesses

There were various sculptures and useful household items. Most of the items are decorative, but some have functional use as well. Its a nice shop to pick up a few unique gift for others or even yourself. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. I dont even know where to begin! Jessica was AMAZING! Since the initial phone call I made to her…read moreasking for information to her proposal and just all around understanding of how I work, she was full on amazing. I met Main Street at a Bridal Showcase and did a little research. After feeling confident they were great, I e-mailed Jessica with my vendor list and schedule along with "who I am". I explained that I am a Control Freak (not to be confused with a GroomZilla) but I like to know and direct things. Jessica assured me that it was not a problem and she was very confident in being able to work with me. She was even willing and able to work out a payment plan (since I did contact her pretty late in the process). Once we signed the proposal and started working together, she went through a lot of the things I had already sought out (vendor's, etc) and was asking questions about things I didnt' even think about. She was a great sounding board for inquiries about many things when I wasn't even sure. Moreover, she attended our 30-day walk-through and was understanding of how I needed to see things fully done and not just in a very 'half' way. She understood our vision for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and more importantly - the party. Since my Mother in Law and Brother were doing the flowers and DJ respectively, she understood the liasing portion and was very good at communicating with me and them about their schedule. When she published the schedule to us, I had some comments, questions, concerns to which she changed, asked me, explained, and clarified to have a good schedule of timeline to get this party going. Further, she provided a floor plan for the space for us to visualize our idea which came in super handy during the event for the catering staff. We had a minor hiccup with the photographer, and I asked to talk to her about everything so she contacted me and again was a sounding board for my concerns and made me feel at ease and at peace. The day of, we ran in to traffic (thanks Nothern Virginia...) I gave her a call and she was super accomodating. Knowing the stress my husband and I were going to be going through, she told me to let her handle it. She brought things I thought of at the last minute and took care of our escort cards, reviewed things where we put them and helped ensure everything was perfect, which it was. We can't thank Jessica enough for what she did and how she really handled the clean up effort, gave us ideas for how to move things, change things, and ultimately, make the wedding a huge success. I would strongly recommend Main Street Weddings for all your wedding needs. I know I am recommending her already. Many of our guests who were there saw how calm I was (because they know Im a little crazy) and I stated it was a lot of Jessica who was in charge so I could let loose, and let loose I did Thank you Jessica and Trudy.
