On the day they came out I was able to chat with his workers beforehand and they were friendly while remaining professional. More importantly, I could see their skill and hard working ethic once they began cutting. They were able to make good work of a difficult job without damaging my personal property. Dan came recommended from a friend so I patiently and understandingly pursued his services in…read moreremoving three trees from my property. But it never happened. He knows how to deliver a fair bid but that's all the good I can say about my experience with Tree King. Dan was almost impossible to get a hold of. Finally he answered and set up a bid appointment which was a no call / no show. I followed up with more phone calls and he did show up to the second appointment at which point he told me approximately when the work would begin. That time passed, again with no communication, despite my efforts to contact him a few days in advance. After sometimes 10 phone calls a day and multiple voicemails over the span of weeks, he answered and acknowledged that he missed starting the work when he said he would. That was the last I heard from him. This all took place over roughly three months. Doesn't matter how many times you call, text, or leave a voicemail, the guy's communication skills are non-existent. And tree trimming skills aren't worth much without them. His excuse was that he's an owner-operator and his work prevents him from using the phone. I also own and self-operate a small business and often can't answer the phone but I never let anyone go without a response for more than a couple of days at the most. Even people I don't want to talk to get called back. Don't waste your time.
