Words cannot describe how I felt physically and emotionally after receiving my first Reiki and Deep Tissue Massage with Red Light Therapy from Ashley Morgan, owner of Morgan's Holistic Touch. I am a somatic therapist and have both studied and experienced many different modalities and practitioners of trauma-informed body work and am happy to say I never need to look anywhere else! Ashley Morgan combines highly intelligent technique with highly attuned energetics to help release muscle tension, joint pain and trauma stored in the body within a trauma-informed container for an unforgettable experience. The massage consisted of the exact pressure I preferred/needed in areas of my body she could easily feel needed the most work, assisted stretching to reach muscles/tendons I am unable to stretch on my own (no one has ever worked my hips like she did), aroma therapy, connecting breath to movement and tension release, tuning fork vibrational healing and the Red Light therapy mat I added on. Ashely provided education on what she was doing (I've never received Reiki or use of tuning fork) and a warmth that allowed me to fully surrender to the trauma healing aspects of body work because she intentionally created a space I felt safe to be seen in that vulnerability. I am truly in awe of Ashley Morgan and grateful I got to hear a bit of her story when I came in for my appointment. Yes she is highly skilled and has years of training, but it takes a special kind of healer to combine that education with personal experience and knowledge in order to meet each unique individual client's needs and capacity. As the world gets more divisive and scary, and my body gets more tense and dissociated, I feel so lucky that Ashley has worked her butt off to provide our community with Morgan's Healing Touch - and I cannot wait to see her business succeed even more with the grand opening of her new space! read more

There are so many positives but the main ones for me are that I was having migraines once a month and after going to Alex regularly they were completely gone. He listens to your needs every session. There are multiple times when my upper back hurts more and he focuses on that area. I personally regard my sessions as treatment rather than a massage because of how they are tailored to my needs. No two massages have felt the same and that's a pro for me. I also really appreciate the knowledge he has about improving posture and tips for us remote desk workers. I've needed to take some of his urgent appointments due to hurting my back and foot and he was super responsive and both times I felt improvement. So amazing! Very grateful for those urgent appointments! Alex is extremely communicative with rate changes, when there is a COVID exposure if you have an upcoming appointment, updates on what he might be doing that impacts you as a client, if he's taking new clients or not, and for scheduling. She briefly sat down with me to see what my needs were and to see if I had any injuries she should know about. The massage table is warmed up and she has a heater going during the massage. The massage was so great! Her massage strokes were slower than I'm used to and I did have my doubts at first but I quickly realized that that's what made the massage relaxing yet effective. She knew which points to hit and work out. I caught myself falling asleep several times. I liked how she changed the pressure throughout different parts of my body, because it felt like the massage was tailored and personalized to me. She also massaged my hips which no one had ever done before. I didn't know how much I needed that area worked on until today! Kirstin uses essential oils for the massage and they smell amazing. It smelled sort of minty and my body felt minty/tingly up the point when I drove myself home. When it was time to lay on my back, she asked if I wanted an eye pillow. I appreciated that since without an eye pillow, I usually feel so "exposed" for some reason while being massaged. After the massage, she provided a glass of water and then she took the time to talk with me about things she noticed during the massage. She let me know which areas needed a little more pressure and which areas seemed to be tight. She also answered my questions about massage therapy in general and gave me some aftercare instructions. I felt like I was sitting there chatting with a friend. She didn't try to rush me out of there at all. I would definitely like to return for another massage and she said that the next appointment would be 25% off. Her prices are reasonable and you have the option to pay after the massage, meaning you don't have to hold your reservation with a credit card. She also accepts Venmo which is handy.
