Taking your baby to get a needle jabbed in her arm isn't the pleasant of experience as any new mum will confirm. The doctor was gentle and quick which I appreciated but wasn't as warm and welcoming as I'd have liked given it was my first visit. I felt a bit rushed and walked out not feeling compelled to go back. My community nurse recommended another doctor in the area. Dr Morton is good for those who like the old home style feel rather than a clinical polished surgery.

The friendly, delightful ladies who are sit at the reception desk always ask if I would like a cup of tea or glass of water. And then just as i've had a great consult downstairs, i'm whizzed through the claims process upstairs in a jiffy! Bupa on George is convenient, friendly and my favourite/not favourite place to be.

She's an extremely busy woman (appointments are recommended) but during my check-ups, I always feel like that half hour belongs to me, and I have her full attention. I…read moreonly received care from Dr Anderson for 6-8 weeks, but during that time I went from having a slough of health issues (heart murmur, underactive thyroid, chronic pain and migraines, GI/gallbladder issues, bad seasonal allergies which sometimes developed into asthma), after seeing her ALL of these health problems were resolved completely. I'm not exaggerating. I no longer needed thyroid meds, daily allergy meds and an inhaler! In addition to standard chiropractic, Dr Anderson has ways to get to the root cause of ailments--she is a true healer and a blessing if you should come across her! It's the use of other modalities that Dr Anderson so skillfully uses in combination with traditional chiropractic that sets her apart from other professionals and allow her to see some major results! I enjoyed excellent health for a couple years after seeing her, not even getting seasonal allergies or colds. A few years later however, I was having some fertility issues and happened to be traveling with my husband in Sydney. We made a special point of seeing her a couple times while in town and she made some excellent recommendations to me as far as supplements. Within six months I was pregnant and had a second child soon after. I went in to get a health check which was required for a personal matter of travel, and he said he would take care of it on the government system instead of requesting me to pay privately, which is what is usually required. The practice is small, and you can't call in to make a reservation, but the waiting room is small, so it can't be more than 3 person wait. He will do call-outs for locals, elderly people, and small children in emergency matters.

He runs a great practice and the wait is never usually more than 10-20 minutes. I've been going to him for around ten years and could't recommend him more highly.
