Last week, I went to a Navarro pharmacy to pick up some medication; there was water spilled on the floor, but there were no "wet floor" signs. I slipped and sprained my right ankle; I haven't been able to walk properly for several days, and I also injured my arm and back. I was unable to work for a week. Now, they've called to tell me they can't proceed with my case because the pharmacy supposedly had to be aware the water was on the floor--along with a bunch of other nonsense that makes no sense. I didn't go there looking to get injured. I believe this firm doesn't live up to the slogan that "no case is too small"; clearly, my case isn't lucrative enough for them to make money. The attorney assigned was Lindasy Koppelman. Let me start by saying she is horrible. After 16 months she withdrew as my attorney. She does not look after her client. On 3/12 at 12:51PM I spoke to a rep who told me that they wouldn't be picking up my case. I received 13 more calls after I was denied help. I finally picked up on the 14th and informed the caller that I was previously denied and asked why they continued to call me, she stayed quiet, either she disconnected or had nothing to say but I hung up after some time of no response. I continued to receive MULTIPLE calls after that. Every time I answered and explained I was previously denied, the caller wouldn't say anything but they continued to call me causing extreme stress and messing with me cause I have inquired many times for help. A person claimed to be a Dentist, who was not a dentist treated me and Morgan & Morgan would not take the case because I "did not have enough pain and suffering". Is it not against the law to practice without a license in this country? I was placed on hold with each question. I did not get an actual attorney. This person who answered the phone had to type in each answer and wait for a reply. This phone call, to me, took a long time to complete because of the waiting each time. I explained that my dentist did not ask or warn me that she had invited a different dentist to actual work. To large a case load to be effective on a personal level as it related to my personal injury (Ford Super Duty pick up Vs Chevy Tahoe LT) case. At first blush they appear to be on top of the case but the reality quickly becomes apparent. The girl that called shortly after they took the, North Central Florida, case said "i am literally never off the phone so it's best to email me as I can read those while on the phone and I don't want to read tons of texts daily." Translated that means she spends her time doing intake of new cases but cannot help with anything beyond reading the emails. In fact the responsive texts and emails promising "some actions" by counsel NEVER came to be. Within the first week I terminated the legal representation by responsive email to that attorney who claimed to be my attorney. He responded by simply and briefly replying he sent my email to the appropriate person\department within Morgan & Morgan. The region that attorney is expected to represent with that small staff of poorly equiped people is far to large for a single litigator to fairly and adequately. Oversee. I write this review with high hopes of informing the public about this firm's level of deception when dealing with its clients in hopes you would never consider hiring this firm. The largest law firm is not always the best and I will explain my personal experience with attorney Jessica Orenstein in the Miami Florida office so you {the public} can make an informed decision when choosing an attorney. Do not be fooled by all the advertisements; this firm does not have your best interest in mind whatsoever. They quickly get you to "sign up" without even knowing you have a case or not so you feel you have a rather large firm on your side, but have no clue if there is real liability or not - meaning you as an injured person are "off the market" to other firms that actually work on your case with your best interest in mind and follow the law. Here is my personal experience with Jessica Orenstein that caused me irreparable harm with regards to my case, medical treatment and ultimately placed my case in jeopardy whereas she and the firm should be held accountable. I am preparing a formal complaint with the Florida Bar Association's Ethics Committee and with her employer, Morgan & Morgan who claims they are "for the people" I will let you be the judge. From the outset, Jessica used very crafty means of deception to throw my case off course and ultimately placed me and the strength of my case in harm's way based on some factors not even relevant to my case. I cannot share all of the details as the case is still on-going and I must preserve the details for the Florida Bar Association, but her actions were so terrible I felt as if she was working for the other party and their insurance companies. She did not have my best interest in mind nor did she represent me to the best of her ability. She treated me as if I was a criminal on trial and this is unacceptable and will not go undocumented or reported across all public platforms as the public has a right to know the truth.
